THE PERFECT SALES DEAL
Oh, how we all wish for the perfect deal - when we don't have to try to make a meeting, we don't have to push to overcome objections, the client accepts the first price and we all jump around and celebrate when the client pays on time.
But what if every deal went like that?
What would be the point of a sales person?
Who would care?
Don't wish away the experience of rejection - it hardens you.
Don't wish away the struggles - it allows you to learn.
The experience of putting yourself through the sales call is one that you HAVE to do in order to get better - yes, of course - on some occasions, we all wish we could skip a few stages and get things done quicker but come on! You want to SELL don't you?
If everything went to plan, you'd just be taking orders and a machine could do that (and my 5 year old son).
Stick with the journey and learn from it.
