A brand that feels as healing as the services it represents. 🌱

This holistic therapy logo was designed using soft organic forms with refined typography to create a balance between professionalism and tranquillity. Flowing lines symbolise relaxation, rejuvenation, and natural beauty, while the minimalist structure reinforces the brand’s commitment to high-quality, results-driven treatments.

Designing with purpose means creating more than a logo—it means telling a story that resonates.

A 💜 C L I E N T 💜 S T O R Y 💜 I’ve had the privilege of working with St Mary's Hospice Ulverston, Cumbria on a number of branding and illustrative projects.

St Marys Hospice brand re-fresh 💜

My brief for this piece of work was to take the long established and locally well-known brand and create a more modern, warm and memorable identity without losing connection to the core element of the brand - the well-recognised forget-me-not. By making the forget-me-not whole and using stronger colours a more flexible and memorable brand image has been created. This new imagery and its sub brands are used across the hospice from the website to the welcome desk and on Hospice and event merchandise throughout the fundraising year.

Furniture Warehouse and Charity Shop fronts 💜

Following on from this I used the new imagery to develop other sub brands - in particular for the Hospice’s high street shops and the Hospice Furniture Warehouse. The links between the main brand and those on the highstreet and furniture vehicle fleet are clear, but each is unique. Retail at St Mary's Hospice

Compassionate Communities 💜

St Mary's Hospice Community Hub works alongside local charities, councils, and community groups, helping to create a network of support around people living with long-term or life-limiting illness, and those who care for them. It brings together specialist support and connects people not only to hospice care but to the wider community. I was involved in designing and creating the illustrative identity for the new Hub based in the heart of Barrow Market. The illustrations of well-known local landmarks started as pencil sketches on my desk and can now be seen on large scale signage outside the Hub on Duke Steet Barrow.

My most recent work with St Mary’s Hospice has been to design some wallpaper!! Taking the dimensions of a neutral corridor at the hospice, I illustrated a montage incorporating local scenes and characters to brighten and personalise the hospice space for patients, families and staff. My experience of working with printers and signage proved very useful in making sure that the right overlaps and bleeds were there so the decorators could do such an amazing job.

It’s been amazing to contribute creatively to a place that provides such vital care and support for the community. 💜

A brand that lens itself to be bespoke and capture that special moment…🥂💕

Creating a typographic brand where each letter intersects to create a moment that tells a story. Clean, modern, and made to stand out in every shot.

Your brand deserves to be just as unforgettable as the memories you create.

This logo brand has been making waves…

“Ellen was an absolute dream to work with. She has perfectly captured the essence of my business and produced fantastic logos to match. She has been so helpful, supportive and professional and I will be returning to her in the future!” Ryan Bushby

The goal of the project was to develop a modern, premium brand identity for a boat and yacht valeting service that would stand out in marinas, harbours, and coastal communities. The visual language draws inspiration from the maritime environment, combining clean lines, and nautical colour palettes.

S E T T I N G ⛵ S A I L with Strong Branding

Presentation is important, so the visual identity of a marine valeting service must reflect care professionalism and the pride of ownership. This brand design was created to communicate professionalism, trust, and attention to detail.

The goal of the project was to develop a modern, premium brand identity for a boat and yacht valeting service that would stand out in marinas, harbours, and coastal communities. The visual language draws inspiration from the maritime environment, combining clean lines, and nautical colour palettes.

The logo was designed with simplicity and clarity in mind, allowing it to work effectively across a variety of applications—from print marketing materials, uniform to signage and digital platforms. Subtle wave-inspired elements and balanced typography reinforce the connection to the sea while maintaining a polished, professional appearance.

Colour plays an important role in the identity. Deep navy, green and purple evoke reliability and marine heritage. Ultimately, the brand reflects the pride and passion people have for their boats while promising a level of service that keeps every vessel looking its best.

When Creativity Meets the Road: A Billboard That Actually Works... 💚 Clubleys

In a world where people scroll past hundreds of ads every day, it takes something creative to make them look up. That’s exactly what this billboard design has done — and the results speak for themselves.

“Business was searching for a fresh design. While we had a clear vision, we struggled to communicate it, until we found Ellen. She perfectly captured exactly what we had in mind. Ellen is both friendly and highly professional, and we look forward to working with her again in the future." Mike Anthony

“We used Ellen for a a large billboard design, she is professional, friendly and listens to your brief and then works hers magic! We couldn't be happier." Many thanks, Suzy Bateman

What makes this billboard stand out is how it connects with people. It doesn’t just sell — it invites curiosity.

Great advertising doesn’t have to shout — it just has to be smart and well branded.
