If you have a loss of water pressure, or worse, no water at all, then you could have a leak, burst or broken water pipe. Find that leak and deciding who's responsibility it is to fix it, is potentially complicated. The accepted wisdom is that the water company [Thames Water in the Woking area] is responsible for the mains infrastructure up to your property's boundary, and either you or your landlord are responsible beyond that boundary.
