She's been here for a while now, but we’re really pleased to officially share that Katie Colledge is working with LWPR as a Senior PR Consultant across our pro client accounts 🎉

Katie is a PR and content specialist with more than 20 years’ experience across audio, AV, broadcast, film production and virtual production technology.

She's held senior in-house roles at ARRI and Blackmagic Design, as well as agency roles supporting specialist technology brands.

She’ll be supporting LWPR clients across integrated communications, content planning, product launches, campaign management and sector-specific media insight.

I’m much better at shouting about my clients than I am at talking about myself, so being invited into Burnley College this morning to speak to marketing students about my background, education and route into PR, and how that led me to build Liz Wilkinson PR and co-found Brandlifi, was really outside my comfort zone!

Honestly? Much of my career has been shaped by instinct, hard work and saying YES to opportunities as they came along, rather than formal education and certification. Some moves made perfect sense at the time. Others not so much... but we have to learn these lessons, don't we! 😅

And that was really the main message I wanted to share with the students:

Qualifications can open up many different routes, and having the foundation is invaluable, but your career doesn't need to (nor does it often) follow a neat or obvious path. Do what excites you! ✨

GIK Acoustics has expanded its bass trapping range with three new deep-panel solutions designed to tackle uncontrolled low frequencies.

The new range includes the Classic Bass Trap Panel “60Hz”, Amplitude Bass Trap Panel “60Hz”, and FlexRange® Bass Trap Panel “50Hz”, and will be formally introduced to the market and shown at AXPONA 2026.

I was lucky enough to attend “The Listening Room” last night - a great event with Tim Burgess hosted by Q Acoustics and DIY magaizne - supported with acoustic treatment by GIK Acoustics

Tim played us his favourite tracks and talked about how they’d influenced him as a person and as an artist, about his creative process and how he’s helping support bands through his various endeavours including Merch Market. The audience even had the opportunity to play some of their favourite records and talk openly about why they loved them.

Already looking forward to the next one - congratulations Nick Renshaw and the rest of theQ Acoustics team 👏🏼

Miami-based Heiga Studios has partnered with IK Multimedia to create the Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX - a new collection series of premium Tone Models captured from the studio’s extensive amp collection and engineered for modern recording and performance workflows.

Over two decades, Heiga Studios has amassed an impressive collection of microphones, analogue gear and amplifiers, alongside an extensive list of multi-platinum albums and Latin Grammy awards. At the helm is Heiga Studios’ Co-Founder and Head of Audio & Music Production, Adrian Morales-Demori, who has honed his craft as an engineer and producer, working on thousands of records throughout his career.

“I’ve been a fan of IK Multimedia for many years—from using T-Racks at the beginning of my career to creating Heiga’s Dolby Atmos Studio with the MTM Immersive bundle and, of course, Amplitube and ToneX,” he explained. “So, when the opportunity arose to bring our amps through our microphones and analogue gear to ToneX and ToneNet, I jumped at it to create the Heiga Amp Series.”

“For this collection, I worked countless hours over several months in the studio, testing multiple guitar amps, settings, and cabinets while refining microphone placements, phase alignment, mic preamps, EQ, and compressors,” he added.

“The Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX gives people the option to use guitars that sound like they were recorded at Heiga Studios, even if you’re across the world, recording in your bedroom, you could access his collection and use all these sounds,” explained Mark Kondrat, Product Specialist and Sales Manager at IK Multimedia.

“There are amazing amps in this collection - hard-to-find amps, vintage amps, boutique amps, things we sometimes don’t have access to as musicians and guitar players,” he furthered.

The Heiga Studios Amp Series for ToneX includes nine guitar collections and one bass collection, totalling 142 tones (featuring Adrian’s personal style and genre-specific presets) based on some of the most iconic and rarest amps available at Heiga Studios.
