Up the Villa! 🏆

We’re honoured to have wrapped the winners’ bus for Aston Villa FC’s Europa League victory parade, celebrating their first European triumph in 30 years. An incredible milestone for the club, the fans, and the city.

A huge celebration of the businesses and people driving Greater Birmingham forward. ✨

Last week, our marketing team had the pleasure of attending the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards at The ICC Birmingham — an evening that brought together more than 1,000 delegates to recognise the ambition, innovation and resilience shaping our region’s business community.

A massive congratulations to Techcare, named Greater Birmingham Business of the Year, as well as winners including Anawim, Birmingham Hospice, B13.ai, University of Birmingham Enterprise, EvoPhase, Findmeasolicitor, M Barnwell Services Ltd, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Johnathan Dudley of Crowe UK. A special highlight of the evening also saw Steven Knight receive the President’s Award in recognition of his impact on how Birmingham is seen around the world. 👏

It was a brilliant evening and a fantastic reminder of just how much talent, progress and momentum there is across the Greater Birmingham business community.

Congratulations again to all of the winners and finalists. 🏆

Celebrating 10 years of inspiring the future of sign and print. 🎓✨

As part of National Learning at Work Week, we’re proud to celebrate our long-standing partnership with Burton and South Derbyshire College and the incredible journey of the Sign & Print Academy.

This year marks a very special milestone — 10 years of the academy. A decade of championing creativity, developing practical skills and opening doors for the next generation of talent entering the signage, print and visual communications industry.

For Hardy Signs, this partnership represents so much more than education. It reflects our commitment to investing in the future of our sector, supporting local talent and helping students gain real insight into an industry built on innovation, craftsmanship and opportunity.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed a number of work experience students and placements through Burton College, with 10 full-time members of the Hardy Signs team having come through this valued partnership — something we’re incredibly proud of.

Stay tuned as we have a number of events dedicated to this special partnership taking place throughout the year, celebrating 10 years of the Sign & Print Academy and the people, partnerships and progress that have shaped its journey so far.

For multi-site trade counters, signage needs to do more than display a logo — it needs to deliver consistency, visibility and confidence at every location. 🔴

When customers, deliveries and visitors need to find the right place quickly, unclear or tired signage can create friction before they have even walked through the door.

At CEF Birmingham, we installed a bold external signage solution designed to strengthen presence on site and make navigation clearer, from the main entrance through to goods inwards. With a large-format elevated sign and supporting site signage, the finished result gives the branch a stronger visual identity while making the customer journey far more straightforward. 👏

As a trusted signage partner for CEF across multiple sites nationwide, projects like this are all about delivering consistent branding at scale without compromising on impact at individual locations.

If your business operates across multiple sites, your signage should work just as hard as your team does. Speak to Hardy Signs about signage solutions built for visibility, consistency and performance. 👋

For heritage brands, external signage needs to do two jobs well — reflect quality and make the right first impression. 👞

When a fascia lacks presence or feels out of step with the brand behind it, it can undersell the business before a customer or visitor has even stepped inside.

For West Midland Shoe Company, we delivered a smart external signage solution that gives the building a cleaner, more elevated presence while staying true to the character of the brand. With bold lettering, a crisp white fascia and a refined overall finish, the completed sign creates a strong visual statement that feels both professional and considered. ✨

It’s a great example of how the right external signage can sharpen brand perception, improve kerb appeal and help a business present itself with confidence.

If your premises no longer reflect the quality of your brand, now is the time to change that. Speak to Hardy Signs about external signage that makes a stronger impression from the outset. 👋

For MATs, summer planning starts now!📚

Across a trust, signage issues can show up in all sorts of ways — inconsistent branding, unclear wayfinding, tired external signs, safeguarding updates and environments that no longer reflect the standard of your schools.

The problem is not knowing it needs doing. The problem is getting it done at the right time, across the right sites, with minimal disruption.

At Hardy Signs, we help Multi-Academy Trusts plan and deliver signage upgrades around the realities of the education calendar. We can work around school hours and holiday periods, and our DBS-checked team is experienced in working safely and professionally within education environments. 🛠️

From single-school improvements to wider multi-site rollouts, we deliver signage that helps create safer, clearer and more consistent spaces for staff, students and visitors alike.

If your MAT is planning summer works, start the signage conversation now. Get in touch with Hardy Signs to prepare your schools for September. 👋

Estates & Facilities Managers in Healthcare — what happens when your signage doesn’t align across sites? 🏥

For HealthNet, operating across Swadlincote and Featherstone meant managing multiple environments—but without a consistent signage approach, navigation and branding lacked cohesion.

That’s where we came in.

Our team delivered a complete multi-site rebrand, creating a unified signage system across both locations. From external branding to internal wayfinding, environmental graphics and compliance signage, every detail was carefully considered.

Now, both sites operate with clarity, consistency and a stronger overall presence.

Looking to bring your sites together under one cohesive signage strategy? We’re here to help.
