Did you know? White space in design can increase comprehension by up to 20%.

It's easy to think of empty space as wasted space, but the opposite is usually true. Give your message room to breathe, and people are more likely to actually take it in.

It's one of the small, unglamorous decisions that separates design that just looks nice from design that actually works.

One design, a hundred different formats it needs to hold up in.

Our artworking service takes finished creative and gets it genuinely production-ready wherever it's actually going: taxi wraps, brochures, menus, POS displays, loyalty cards, retail campaigns, digital screens. Correct sizes, correct specs, correct colour, checked and built properly rather than just resized and hoped for.

From global beauty brands to your local pub's loyalty card, if it needs to work in the real world, we've probably artworked it.

Kiehl's needed their welcome offer to earn attention before anyone even reads the discount code. Adam built two versions for social, one leaning on the models, one built around the products themselves, so the campaign could be tested to see which one actually drives people to shop.

Need social creative that's built to convert, not just to look good? Get in touch.

Bury St Edmunds Guildhall is one of the most recognisable buildings in town, and we've had the privilege of shaping how it's presented to the public, from initial branding and logo work through to the exhibition and publicity materials used across their events.

It's the kind of project that means a bit more when it's on your own doorstep, and we're proud the Guildhall team trust us to keep getting it right.

When Prada launched Paradigme, their new refillable fragrance, they needed the campaign to feel identical everywhere a customer might encounter it on The Perfume Shop's website.

Simon built the full set across multiple sizes, from a small app tile to a full-width homepage banner, each one holding the same look and feel rather than a stretched copy of the last.

Your brand isn't just your logo. It's every single moment someone comes into contact with your business, and each one of those moments is either building trust or quietly undermining it.

The email you send after a meeting. The invoice template. The way your social media looks on a Saturday morning. The packaging someone opens when their order arrives. The out-of-office message. The proposal you send before a pitch. None of these feel like branding decisions in the moment, but to the person on the receiving end, they all add up to the same thing: an impression of who you are and whether you can be trusted.

The businesses that build the strongest brands aren't just consistent on their website and social channels. They're consistent everywhere, including the places most businesses never think about.

Every touchpoint is an opportunity. The question is whether yours are working for you or against you.

When Helena Rubinstein needed POS artwork for their wall space inside Harrods, the brief was clear. Large-scale, luxury-feel, and creative that could hold its own in one of the most prestigious retail environments in the world.

Simon designed the artworks to showcase the Replasty Cream Duo range, balancing the product detail and clinical credibility the brand is known for with the premium visual language that Harrods demands. Everything from the composition to the typography had to feel considered and intentional at scale.

This is the result.

Meet Clara, our Media and Publishing Director.

With over 25 years in publishing, media, and events, Clara knows how to take a brand's story and put it in front of exactly the right people. She heads up our media and publishing divisions and works closely with clients to make sure the content they put out actually does what it's supposed to do.

When she's not doing that, she's navigating life as a busy mum and feeding a serious passion for interiors. Beautiful spaces, considered design, anything that makes a room feel right. Clara gets it.

Instagram just changed its word mark for the first time in ten years. And the internet, predictably, has thoughts.

The new logo swaps the familiar cursive style for something bolder and more compact. The app icon stays the same, the gradient stays, but the word "Instagram" at the top of your feed now looks noticeably different to what you've spent a decade recognising.

From a brand perspective, the direction makes sense. Type ages, and what felt contemporary in 2016 can start to look slightly off on modern screens. The cleaner, more upright approach feels considered and intentional.

The one talking point is the r. At first glance, it reads more like a z, which is where the "Instagzam" jokes currently doing the rounds come from. It's not an unfair observation. But look back at the old r, and it was actually a slightly unusual letterform too. It got away with it because the cursive style joined everything up, so no single letter had to stand completely on its own. The new wordmark is more separated, which means every letter has to work harder in isolation.

A brave update for a brand at that scale. Was it the right call?

Great video doesn't need to shout. It just needs to stop the scroll at exactly the right moment.

Here's a look at some of what we produce at Whitewater, from beauty campaigns and product videography to hospitality content and local business storytelling. Whatever the brief, the standard stays the same.
