It happened! We are officially celebrating 10 years of Design for Online!

What started as a small operation from a laptop, to spare room, to virtual teams and home offices and now for something completely new!

I started Designforonline 10 years ago after leaving my London career in marketing and analytics to pursue a goal I’ve had in the back of my mind since I could remember.

Today we’ve grown significantly working with an internal team which is expanding, external partnerships and working with some incredible businesses small and large! We’ve expanded our original services over this time too, from mostly website design and SEO to now include since 2023 videography, production, consultancy, AI services, custom app and software development.

A quote that stands out to me today, by Alan Watts, he has a speech that says “What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life?”

He goes on to ask people what they actually want to do. Paint? Write? Work with horses? Travel? Create something? His answer, essentially, is: well, do that.

Because if you spend your life doing something you don’t enjoy simply to earn money, you risk using that money just to keep living a life you don’t particularly want.

The point isn’t that money doesn’t matter. It’s that it probably shouldn’t be the thing that decides what you do with your life.

If anyone reading is thinking of starting their own business, my only advice is to go at your own pace, give yourself the maximum amount of time you’re able to and don’t chase the finish line enjoy the journey, that’s what it’s all about!

We recently completed this website for the Worlds End Cafe in Chelsea, London. Working with Juliet and the team to design a fresh, simple website for their welcoming cafe in the heart of Chelsea. Check it out at www.worldsendcafe.com

Also in other news, we’ve been slack on our socials, we’ve been full on working on our clients projects, websites, photography, video, seo and so much more. We are already on for our biggest year to date and we have a huge backlog of way over 60 projects to work their way onto our website and socials that we can’t wait to share more on.

We’ve also secured some major ai contracts over the last few months, working to enable a global insurance firm with the tools to leverage their data with the use of AI.

We hope to be posting more frequently, sharing more projects from our amazing clients, behind the scenes of our work, as well as all the latest ai tools you can use today for your business to grow online.

2025 was officially our biggest year yet and we can’t thank every one of our clients! We have been extremely quiet on the social front, but we have been busy! Cant wait to share more in the new year.

Here is a brief look at what we have achieved this year in our 2025 Wrapped!

This is where the major changes happened:
- Successfully launched our AI Automation platform, Forerunner®, and secured the official trademark.
- Our AI SEO optimisation tools as well as analytics data helped to double overall SEO growth for managed client sites, exceeding performance expectations.
- We launched Forerunner® AI Live Chat for free on WordPress, achieving over 250 installs globally.
- Released our paid plugin for OpenAI’s AgentKit integration, with sales reaching key international markets: the US, Netherlands, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
- Introduced a custom cloud computing service, enabling scalable server hosting, LLMs, and advanced automation workflows.
- We now host infrastructure for leading businesses in their fields (NDA).
- Integrated our custom AI chatbot and automation tools into the Design for Online website as a showcase.
- Our videography service, Ned Studio, is fully booked for 2025 and is currently securing 2026 clients across Suffolk and the wider UK.
- We worked on a huge Christmas campaign for the Rougham Estate
- Launched over 15 new websites, including projects for newa.expert, hashbang.digital, and greensremovals.co.uk.
- Web Development expanded into custom CRM software, bespoke plugin development, and smart app creation.
- Working with over 10 UK businesses on their specific AI application requirements.
- Collaborated closely with local brands on new branding concepts.
- Formed new strategic partnerships with automation platform n8n and progressed towards n8n partner status to enhance client deliverables.

We are committed to leading way on how AI Automation can genuinely empower people within UK and Suffolk businesses and leverage it for your business, we also don’t get involved in AI Slop or AI for the sake of AI.

We are excited for what’s ahead and 2026! But for now, that’s a wrap!

Earlier this year we worked with NEWA, the National Expert Witness Agency. We completely redesigned the website, bringing it up to date, with new dynamic functions and future proofing the UK's most popular directory for finding expert witnesses.
We have worked with NEWA for a number of years, providing website support as well as facilitating their advanced hosting which (using our Forerunner™ Hosting service) allows them to cope with the 20,000 records on their website with advanced features behind the scenes as well as the large daily traffic on the website.
We were asked to help bring their vision to life with their new design and came up with new search views, expert profile looks, new ways to find experts as well as the ability to showcase experts with their own ads.
