I watch this interview once or twice a year because it reminds me of something important:
✅ Great businesses are built by product people
✅ Sales has its place, but never at the cost of churning out mediocrity
✅ The real value comes from giving the customer something they love - and knowing it works for them
That's why I always introduce myself by saying I'm not a salesperson.
💻 I'm a website and technical person.
⚙️ I build things that work.
🚀 I take a no-stone-unturned approach - learning everything about the people and the business before I build anything.
A salesperson's goal is to get the sale. Mine is to make sure you don't regret it.
🤝 I'm far more interested in working with clients in partnership for the long term.
📈 And that only happens when the product actually delivers.
