Small businesses, I love working with you!

From food and drink to events venues, travel, financial and property... these are some of the businesses I've had the pleasure of working with these past years.

If you run a business in the South West and are looking for help and advice on all things social media and copywriting, send me a DM and let's get talking (or an email if you prefer - [email protected]).

Business owners, I’d love to know what your biggest struggles are with social media at the moment.

When speaking to clients in the past, it would often be “not enough time”, “not sure how to”, or simply “so don’t want to”.

Is this still the same for you or do you face new issues in today’s ever changing social media marketing landscape? 🤔

Let me know in the comments below!

1-1 training is one of my favourite parts of what I do as a social media consultant.

The ability to come in and make a difference right away. To give small business owners and teams the tools (and confidence) to improve their social media marketing.

Training doesn't have to be 1-1 in person either. It can be for groups or completed virtually.

Here's what some Boost training could do for you.

✨ Build confidence and skill sets
✨ Answer those burning questions you've had for ages
✨ Improve your socials straight away with an audit
✨ Build a Social Media Strategy designed for success
✨ Inspire you with content ideas

Plus you'll get a bespoke Training Pack created exclusively for your requirements and skill level.

If this sounds like something you'd love to do (or know you need to!), get in touch so I can find out more about your business.

DM me or email [email protected].

Happy Hump Day all! Here's this week's new Word Of The Week.

"Forsooth" - adverb meaning "in truth", "indeed" or "certainly".

I love a good "indeed", so perhaps I'll be saying this in future instead 😄.

Love this, and so true! 😂

3 Things I Wish New Business Owners Knew Right At The Start...

(yes this was me 10 years ago, back in 2016 🙈)

1.) It’s OK to want huge success straight away, but not get it. If you feel like you've fallen short of your goals, there's no such thing as failure, only learning. All experiences shape you and make you a better as a person. Even Richard Branson had early 'failures' before building his Virgin empire. Learn from your successes and your not so successful actions.

2.) Don’t try to do everything yourself. Reach out to likeminded local businesses! Doing everything yourself might look like saving money, but in the long run you're just spreading yourself too thinly. Reach out to likeminded local businesses who you can collaborate with. Perhaps you can do work for each other to keep budgets down?

3.) Success on social media might not happen overnight, but it will come eventually if you remain consistent. Keep posting no matter what and let your brand's personality shine through. Aim to entertain, educate or inspire your target audiences and offer them something of value from your content.

Good luck in your ventures! 😀
