Another incredible Formula 1 season comes to an end, with competition that kept us on the edge of our seats to the very last seconds.

After an exciting weekend at Circuit Zandvoort in Amsterdam, it's clear that Formula 1 continues to be a powerful arena for business and partnerships. With one of the shortest tracks on the F1 calendar, Zandvoort's unique layout brings fans closer to the action than most circuits—creating a thrilling experience for everyone involved.

On Sunday, 305,000 fans witnessed an impressive performance from Lando Norris, who delivered a commanding win. A huge thank you to the BWT Alpine F1 Team for hosting an unforgettable weekend, setting the tone for an exciting second half of the season.

Having been appointed by the United Rugby Championship (URC), we continue to work with their team to shape and market this competition, which is going from strength to strength as we head into this weekend's Grand Final.

David Evans, URC Commercial Director, explains: “As of Round 15 this season, seven of the 15 rounds have attracted a cumulative average audience of over 2.5-million viewers (an all-time URC record), with round 13 seeing a record audience of over 3.4m. The third season of the URC has seen a year-on-year increase in TV audience of +35% over the 15 rounds, and last year reached an accumulated global TV audience of 37.4-miilion.”

These impressive stats show that the URC's rise has been exponential. The innovative approach of the URC and its ever-expanding digital footprint are providing a platform for which brands should be reviewing for their marketing mix.

Congratulations to Hertz Team JOTA on their victory at Spa last month. What a massive achievement to become the first ever independent team to win a race in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). As we join them this weekend, we want to wish the Team all the best for the 24-hour Le Mans. We are proud and excited to be working with Hertz Team JOTA over the past several months. The Team is an impressive group of people, who are focused on competing at the highest level of the sport. Every detail to deliver a high-performance racing team has been meticulously analysed, tested and reviewed. Everything coming together to have two hypercars ready for a gruelling 24 hours of motor racing this weekend.

The World Endurance Championship (WEC) and Hertz Team JOTA offer high-paced all-engaging propositions. Beyond the brand exposure, the ability to get up close and personal with the team delivers a unique and totally immersive experience. The proximity and insights as to what it takes to deliver a high performance like Hertz Team JOTA’s operation is captivating.

Sam Hignett founder of Hertz Team JOTA explains: “Hertz Team JOTA have fast become one of the most experienced and successful racing teams in recent times, claiming 10 Le Mans Podium finishes over the past 10 years, including wins in 2014, 2017 and 2022. Last year we led Le Mans outright for over an hour and finished the season as the winners of the Hypercar World Cup. In 2024, Hertz Team JOTA has expanded to a two-car team, retaining Hertz as the team title partner, along with Singer Vehicle Design and Brady, forming the commercial foundation of the team. As always, we are very excited about this weekend!”
