🧶 Thrilled to Share: "Cannock Chase Knits Together" 🧶

I'm excited to unveil my latest project: "Cannock Chase Knits Together." This community initiative embodies the power of design to create positive change.

The creative had a mission to capture the spirit of the project, embracing the world of knitting, community, and the warm feeling of belonging. It had to be a visual party, bursting with imagination, radiating cheerfulness, and inviting the local community to jump on board.

I went all out on style, venturing into the realm of abstraction with playful illustrations and a dash of relevant imagery.

When it came to fonts, I didn't hold back on the fun and funkiness. 'Cannock Chase Knits Together' had to have its own unique personality in the design mix.

Don't forget THIS SATURDAY, we have the Food of Life Harvest Festival!
12pm - 2pm at the Allotmant building on Lovatt Place. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided. Raffle tickets for our Christmas fundraiser will also be available as well as being the first to be able to book tickets for our Santa at the Stadium event in December!
We are also collecting non perishable items for local food banks. Do you have any tins, pasta, rice, toiletries etc that we can donate?

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: SEO for beginners from Yoast SEO!

I've been busy with some late-night learning to improve my SEO knowledge. While I may not claim to be an SEO expert, I’ve invested in my knowledge by completing Yoast’s SEO for beginners certified course, ensuring I have a solid understanding to serve my clients better.

For those interested, I collaborate with SEO experts in their respective fields to enhance websites for my clients. I include Yoast Plugin, a robust and highly regarded SEO tool in every new Wordpress Website I sell.

I'm thrilled to announce the successful launch of the brand new website for my client, Emma Louise Accountancy LLP. They offer a comprehensive range of accountancy services with a unique and personalized touch. Initially, their website was limited in both design and functionality, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the design process, making this project particularly enjoyable and rewarding.

To set them apart from traditional accountants, I carefully crafted a rich colour palette that is rarely associated with the industry, helping them stand out and capture the attention of their target audience. Additionally, I implemented a custom typographic system, collaborating closely with the client to create a cohesive and appealing design across every page of the website.

At the very top of what makes my job an absolute blast is the exhilarating beat of the music that pulsates through my ears in my vibrant office. Mainly good ol' classic Rock'n'Roll.

It fills me with infectious energy as I create my very own haven, a cosy slipper-like space that envelops me each day. Oh, what a delightful sensation!

Additionally, I get to indulge in the delightful activity of creating playful origami desk plants and giving my shelving a vibrant burst of orange through spray painting. And let's not forget the newfound delight of nurturing the fresh plants adorning my desk, attending to their needs with tender care. (My Cactus died!)

Last week, a dream of mine came true—I attended the incredible LGC Awards! It's the biggest celebration of Local Government excellence, with over 1,200 professionals in attendance!

I've had the pleasure of designing campaigns for my local Cannock Chase Council for years, and I absolutely love the challenges and positive impact they bring.

The awards night in London was a blast, accompanied by the amazing Cannock Chase Council and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles teams. Our Cannock Chase Can App competed in the fiercely contested Innovation category, and I was thrilled to contribute to its branding and graphics.

Although we didn't win this time, the experience was priceless. We got to showcase our district and Cannock Chase Can on a national stage, while enjoying a delightful evening with wonderful company and delicious food. Oh, and let's not forget the epic pick'n'mix-filled afterparty!

Massive thanks to the incredible teams at Cannock Chase Council and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles for organizing the night and choosing me to be part of it.
