Hot take: Wix has made the internet boring.

Notice it? Every plumber, café, accountant and dog groomer has started to look identical online.

Same hero image. Same three-column layout. Same "We're a passionate team" headline. Same stock photo of someone pointing at a laptop.

It's not lazy business owners. It's the platform.

Wix (and Squarespace, and most builders) push you towards the same templates because that's what gets people to launch quickly.

Quick launch ≠ good website.
