Another great planning session with the team, and an important moment for AIRDAT.

We’re pleased to share a leadership update as we move into our next phase of growth.

Sankey has joined us as CEO, bringing strong experience in scaling SaaS businesses and helping organisations grow with focus and clarity. His appointment marks an exciting step forward as we build on the momentum of the last 20 years.

At the same time, Tumbri has moved into a new Director role leading a newly formed Customer Success team, with a dedicated focus on delivery, projects, and ensuring our customers achieve the outcomes they need.

As we continue to grow, evolving how we work with our customers, partners and suppliers is a key part of that journey, strengthening how we collaborate, scale, and deliver long-term value together.

Exciting times ahead 🚀

Every company has the team that quietly makes the rest of the year more fun. At AIRDAT, that's our events committee 🙌

They've had a brilliant year. The terrarium afternoon was a proper highlight, the Hampton Court trip went down a treat, the 2025 Christmas party wrapped things up nicely, and most recently they delivered our 20th anniversary celebration which was a huge success!

To every one of you on the committee, thank you. The AIRDAT calendar, and the culture that comes with it, would look very different without you 🎉

The ideas, the graft, the late nights, the “there must be a better way” moments - all driven by the people behind it.

From Charles’ original idea to where we are today, it’s been shaped every step of the way by a team of thinkers, builders and problem-solvers who just keep pushing things forward.

This is a celebration of all of that, and everyone who’s been part of the journey.

Here’s to 20 years… and everything still to come 🚀

A week on from Australian Airports Association Ops Swap 2026, and still buzzing from a brilliant few days in Perth 🛫

A proper highlight from Australian Airports Association Ops Swap this week. Jen Tumbri joined Dylan Hile from Perth Airport on stage to share what the two teams have been building together over the past 12 months.

The headline: Perth Airport's community training management is now connected directly to its access control system. Workforce competency and security talking to each other in real time, with a lot less admin in the middle.

Huge thanks to Dylan for co-presenting, and for getting the concept off the ground in the first place. Brilliant to share the stage.

Brilliant turnout this morning. Already had plenty of familiar faces from the NZ and Aus tour swing by, plus great to catch up with friends at . Shaping up to be a cracking few days.

What a trip! ☀️ has been bouncing across New Zealand and Australia in the lead up to Australian Airports Association Ops Swap next week, ticking off Auckland Airport , Tauranga Airport, Wellington Airport, Christchurch Airport, Nelson Airport New Zealand and Cairns Airport Tomorrow he’ll be visiting Adelaide Airport then joining up with Tumbri at Perth ahead of the conference.

Plenty of warm welcomes, great chats with the teams keeping these airports moving, and a few cracking views along the way.

20 years of AIRDAT, told through the people who made it happen 📹

Last week's celebration wasn't just about looking back, it was about understanding how we got here. took us on that journey (with a bit of Back to the Future thrown in 🎬), bringing to life the stories, moments, and individuals who've shaped AIRDAT over the last two decades.

The night had it all: a three-course dinner at Broome Park 🥂, a murder mystery that brought out everyone's inner detective 🔍, and a room full of colleagues from across the business finally getting the time to sit, talk, and properly catch up.

This video captures a small part of that. The energy, the pride, and the people who continue to drive AIRDAT forward.

That's Safety Week wrapped for AIRDAT!

Yesterday, Steven Smith and Katy Johnson were over at London Stansted Airport for day two. Plenty of good conversations, familiar faces, and a few new ones to add to the list.

The best part of weeks like this is always the side chats and the half-formed ideas people are willing to share. Thanks to everyone who grabbed five minutes with us.
