Me and my girl at the theatre last night 🥰 seeing Annie, our first outing as a pair. One of many I hope as I love the theatre, and I think she may have the bug too. Had to feed her haribo and ice cream in the second half to keep her awake but she made it 😜

👉🏻Soooo news in this week! Meta have announced their rival to twitter….have you signed up to Threads yet, and what are your thoughts? 👇🏻

I’m enjoying it so far although it feels a bit like you’ve arrived at a party and you’re not quite sure where to go and what to say 🤣

No hashtags, so no trending content, and we are reliant on what content the algorithm decides to throw our way, but personally I think it could be a really great way to be ‘seen’ and grow your business (especially as it’s been increasingly difficult on existing platforms of late).

It feels a bit like twitter used to be before it got complex and laden with ads and badges and groups etc… but we shall see.

In the words of Annie, I think I’m gonna like it here. Sorry.

Reels are still being pushed by Instagram but it doesn’t have to be looking silly, pointing at random captions and always showing your face, if that’s not you.

They are getting increasingly easier to create as instagram evolves its technology, with templates available and trending audio soon to be easier to find.

🎯 GOALS// What do you want out of your social media?

• Brand Awareness?
• Direct people to your website?
• Get more engagement with your current audience?

Whatever your goals are, your strategy needs to be aligned. Your content needs to have the right tone of voice. Are you doing enough 'social selling'? Is your content balanced enough so your current audience remains interested but you are also attracting new customers?

All food for thought! Once you've established your goals, then your content strategy is more likely to fall into place.

Today is NATIONAL OPPOSITE DAY 🤪 Read for social media content tips 👇🏼

Let it bring out the inner rebel in you! It gives you the opportunity to have fun by saying the opposite of what you would usually say. For example -

1. Get your followers to work out what you are saying using the 'opposite code' ie Yes is No...

2. Perfect for any business relating to children as ALL children love opposite day any day of the year 🙃

3. Treat it a bit like April Fool's Day. Announce something on your socials that may not be true (to grab attention) then put what day it is in the comments...

4. Does your business involve something a bit different? Perhaps you are a small fish in a big pond? This is your moment to encourage your audience to try your product or service instead ie do the opposite to what they would usually...
