TGIF!

Friday is here and there is MUSIC in this weekend! First off we can't help but shoutout to El Toro Classic Dancefloor Rock who are going to ROCK Tuckers Grave Inn and Campsite tonight! We love this band and venue and just KNOW it's going to be a rocking night!

Over at The Crown Inn, Westbury you can see The Worried Men play the venue for the first time!

We won't be able to attend either sadly as Cracking Pair are busy at The Boat House from 8 to late for Disco/karaoke!

Saturday the local Melksham legend that is Jake Lockhart will be at The Market Tavern from 8pm. This is such a quirky venue, it's going to be a great place to have a drink and enjoy the music!

Forget Monday Blues, the Sunday Blues are where it's at! Come see Paddy Milner return to play with The Jon Amor Trio at The Southgate Inn Devizes from 5pm.

Congrats to MUTE TV who are releasing their debut single 'Drag Me Down' this Friday!

Available on your standard streaming sites you can go old Skool and get a CD from their launch/live gig at The Royal Oak Friday from
8:30pm!

If you listen back to the 'Sounds from the Wilderness' Episode #201 on West Wilts Radio you can hear a little of the band from their gig at The Three Horseshoes in February!

Lucie Jones in Bradford-on-Avon!

If you haven't seen already, West Wilts Radio have been lucky enough to arrange for Lucie Jones (with Ben Howarth on piano) for special fundraising concert for the station!

Held at Wiltshire Music Centre on 16th May this is going to be a special event for sure!

"Lucie Jones is widely recognised as a major West End leading lady and for representing the UK in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. She is best known for leading roles in Wicked (Elphaba), Les Miserables (Cosette and Fantine) and Waitress (Jenna). Most recently, Lucie made history as the first musical theatre star to feature at Glastonbury and brought us a new musical: 13 going on 30 at the Manchester Opera House. Her sell-out solo shows include iconic venues such as the Adelphi Theatre, Cadogon Hall and the London Palladium"

We are still here!

It's been a crazy few weeks for Cracking Pair at the HQ of Bird Is The Word!

As you may know, we work with a few venues locally and have been impacted by the sudden closure of one particular local venue, and cancellation of several events planned by the same people.

This has meant a lot of admin behind the scenes and a lot of disappointment and financial loss for many 😞

There is upcoming change and new venues we are working with and that is all taking a lot of time. Its incredibly exciting but for now we are sworn to secrecy... 🤫

We have been busy with our own gigs too which means we haven’t been as out and about as we would like.

However, tides are changing and we will be back posting more over the next week, including some great recommendations for you!
