Pembrokeshire County Show 💙🐄
Sioe Sirol Sir Benfro 🐑🏴
Last week I attended my second ever Pembrokeshire County Show as their social media manager, and what a difference a year makes.
Last year, I turned up to cover the two-day event with just my phone, a power bank and knowing exactly one person - Delme Delboy Harries📱
This year, I returned with a camera, two phones, my trusty power bank and some microphones, meaning I could really up the quality and variety of the content I was creating.
But more than that, this year felt different. I wasn’t just showing up for two days and disappearing again.
For the past 10 months, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society and with Jake Aldred across a number of events, some exciting design projects (more on those soon 👀), and, of course, the all-important build-up to the show across social media.
It was so lovely to return this year knowing a few more faces, my way around the show and with a much better idea of what to expect. I loved capturing photos and footage throughout the two days for stories and on-the-day reels, but this year I’ve also been able to capture content that I can keep sharing long after the show has finished to reflect on what truly was a wonderful show. 🥹
I came home with a camera roll absolutely full of content, a gallery of professional photos, a great step count and some new favourite food vendors (thecheesycow_ & The Gower Doughnut Co) 🤤🤭
As always, I completely forgot to get any photos of me ‘in action’, so here’s one from the car park at the end of the two days, captured by my sister-in-law, who is now a proud member of ‘Criw Cymorth Caryspective’ 😂
Forever grateful to have such supportive friends and family behind me 🧡
