Here's a bit of an update on life at The Fated Stitch at the end of March/ beginning of April:
March: Attended the Mint market, it was great, met some lovely fellow market vendors and sold some tote bags and a T-shirt. However, we were hit by a windstorm that appeared to affect only one half of the market area; it was freezing, and I think it deterred some customers from venturing out into the cold. Fair enough! - However, it was a great venue, and so much to see. Very worthwhile. Therefore, we are booked to attend this month too, Saturday 25th! - More details about the day and other vendors attending will come.
April: Attended a local community market, which was their first market and the hottest day of the Easter school holiday, so footfall was non-existent. No one's fault. Looking at the positives: Charlee got to try out a new market setup for limited space markets, and now we have more stock available for the Mint market soon.
Moved studio spaces. We loved our little studio, but it was pushed for space for new stock. It also got very little daylight, which is important for so many reasons: mental health, social media creation, and visibility when checking stock quality. So we moved rooms around in the house to allow the studio to get daylight 80% of the day. It's much better in here!
