🎉It’s that time of year – Future Propulsion Conference 2025!🎉

From social media campaigns to conference brochures, event signage, mailers and running the website – it’s been a busy run-up, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love being part of this event every year, connecting with brilliant minds and seeing innovation in motion!

It’s been a fantastic first day so far, with many interesting exhibits and seminars - it’s not an event to miss if you’re in the engineering/propulsion industry!

Previously Cenex LCV, the event has massively evolved since it began more than 15 years ago, and it was time for a , to be more relevant for now and for future years.

It’s been a busy 18 months;
✅ Establishing the new , logo & guidelines
✅ Designing and building the new Expo
✅ Producing social media & email banner packs for the run up to the event
✅ Making teaser & full showcase videos for their new event app
✅ Updating the website information pre-event
✅ Creating designs for walls around the event; Entrance Wall, Reception Area, Cenex Networking, Hall 1 Expo wall, Innovation Start-Up Area, Hydrogen Showcase, Innovation zone, You Are Here Boards & Desk Hides
✅ Developing Digital slides for screens & A4 posters around Cenex Expo

The first day is currently in full swing, and it’s great to see all the designs around the !

🎊 We had the honour of creating the flyer for this year’s Caribbean Carnival in Derby. 🎊

We started working with our lovely new clients at DWICA early this year, working on a couple of exciting new projects with them - one of these being a flyer design for the 2023 Carnival. The brief was to produce something exciting and vibrant, showcasing previous years photographs, and we had so much fun getting creative with this, trying out different techniques and ideas.

📣 Event Day has arrived! 📣

Its been an extremely busy couple of months here at PDC preparing for the annual Cenex-LCV & CAM Event, from creating videos and social/mailer banners, to event signage, print media and digital platforms.

Here’s a peek of the event which includes floorplans and the seminar programme for the 2 day event, and also the graphics created for our friends at both the Niche Vehicle Network (NVN) and Cenex.

It’s always great to see all the hard work out there in the real world, and we wish everyone at Cenex-Events a great 2023 event!

✖❓‘What's happening’ indeed! ✖❓

This morning the world awoke to no birds tweeting, and instead the news that as we know it was no more, with a swift and very unXpected .

From the globally recognised bright blue bird logo, to a very basic and neutral , the ‘mourning’ message it seems to give off is quite appropriate!

Although this seems a very sudden change, with a new logo quickly crowd-sourced on Twitter just yesterday, the rebrand into wasn’t completely out of the blue, with stating in a tweet (now an X), back in October 2022: “Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app”.

Why X? This seems to be becoming a pattern with Elon; he started with X.com in 1999, (later becoming part of PayPal), SpaceX, the Tesla Model X and the recent launch of xAI (a new generative artificial intelligence venture).

Our friends at GEOTAB came to us earlier this year in need of a LinkedIn that presented their 6 business pillars: Sustainability, Productivity, Optimisation, Safety, Compliance and Expandability.

By using their and following their , we produced six slides that flowed continuously to each other, which created an eye-catching piece that displayed their business pillars in a visually appealing way.

As carousel posts are interactive, they increase and boost , and with the right , they stand out in the newsfeed. Not only are they a great way to display your brand and your values, but you can show much more than you would with a static graphic, and by ending on a call to action, it encourages your audience to and find out more.
