What a crazy end to the year. Continued my work with ETO and SEN Magazine. Sadly, also saw the passing of my mum in October from Cancer. Which led to navigating the craziness that is closing someones estate. Thankfully, that is all nearly done and today I am officially opening the bourbon and putting on my Christmas jumper.

I would like to thank all the people I have worked (and supported me) with this year. It's been a good year for growth and without you it would have been another year of struggle. So, thank you and hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year.

So, from Bruce and I, have great festive period and see you on the other side.

Sad to hear that the legendary artist Drew Struzan passed away on the 13 October. Everyone will have seen at least one of his movie posters. Creating iconic work for Back to the Future, Star Wars and Indian Jones. What a legacy to leave behind. RIP

Whenever I have downtime, it is mostly spent learning the Affinity Publisher software. After making a move from using Adobe, the change hasn't been vast, but has required learning some of the changes in functions. I am loving it and happy with my decision to change software.

Here is a mockup magazine layout using said software. If you zoom in on the copy you can read what Google Gemini thinks about the Rapture haha. 👀

If, like me, you transfer a lot of files and have used the free Wetransfer to do so. You know the limit for how long the files are available for is a pain. It's been a crazy few weeks. Another issue of SEN Magazine finished. Another issue of ETO nearly finished! Saw a living legend in the shape of Stevie Wonder at Lytham Festival and Bruce melted during the heatwave (look at that squishy face)!

As the summer holidays loom and there are projects booked in. Priority is to spend some time with family (sadly, no holiday this year 😢), but I would like to fill some gaps that I have in the calendar. Time is limited, so get in quick if you need your ideas bringing to life. 👊🏻
