Thanks to Moda for calling Avenue Signs Ltd for their sign removal and relocation down at Dockside in Chatham to their bigger unit next to McDonald’s.
Avenue Signs can safely dismantle, transport, and re-install commercial signage during a corporate move, rebranding, or renovation. Preserving and relocating existing signs protects your initial branding investment and reduces the environmental footprint compared to buying new.
Our service includes a survey of the new site to ensure that the structure is sound and sizing is suitable for the sign relocation.
The necessary RAMs are supplied along with any security requirements on site.
Any illuminated signage, such as LEDs, real glass neon, old fluorescent tubing and transformers are safely disconnected and any remaining wires that are no longer required are capped to ensure safe isolation.
Once the sign is removed from the original site, we can also clean, fill and repair the façade to make good and comply with your commercial lease handover requirements.
Prior to fitting at the new location there is an opportunity to clean and service the sign, if required. This may include LED / neon upgrades replacing any old out dated fluorescent tubing.
Our fitters re-install your existing sign with suitable fixings for the new building material using our own access equipment which includes high-level cherry picker, also known as a boom lift.
If the sign is illuminated, we ensure re-connection to a pre-wired suitable spur and test the illumination is in working order.
