Over the coming weeks, we'll have a team of Recycling Advisors out and about across Suffolk to offer help and advice to those that need it who are still getting to grips with the new recycling and waste service. They'll not be visiting every home but if you see them out and about and have a question, then ask away!

Don't worry, stubble can look cool. What isn't cool is chucking the empty can in the rubbish! Providing it's a metal aerosol can and all the shaving gel or foam is gone, you can put in the recycling bin. You can even leave the nozzle on. Recycling...that's a smooth move!

Putting a sign that says 'FREE' on the junk you leave outside your house doesn't transform it from being dumped waste - even if it isn't really junk. If you have something you no longer want, donate it to charity or book a bulky waste collection (see info in comments). If you don't, you could face a fine and prosecution, 'Free' sign or not.
