May's been a good one for the ears, eyes and imagination.
Some tunes that have been on constant rotation in the studio lately - each one hits completely but we do love a genre mix.
On the screen, Lessons in Chemistry has been brilliant. VVV sad so prepare for some boohoos, but honestly really powerful, slow-burn storytelling, and anything with a sprinkle of retro design and I'm in.
And on the reading pile - Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon and Freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi. Both doing something really interesting with q***r and black identities. Heavy but worth it. This is my little monthly check-in on what's shaping me outside of client work, because good design rarely comes from just staring at design.
