Fashion District Festival needed an identity that could hold its own on a phone screen and a building facade. The project was about a refreshing the festival visual system: sharper, bolder, more technology-led - without losing the culture at its core.

Everything that’s been shaping the studio lately - what’s on repeat, what’s been on screen, what I couldn’t put down.

It’s never just the work, it’s all the bits around it that end up feeding into how things take shape.

Things that make me instantly trust a brand

It’s usually not one big thing - it’s the small signals adding up.

How they sound, how they show up, whether everything really feels together.

You can feel when a brand knows who it is, and when it’s still figuring it out.

The visuals match the price, everything’s looking/feeling consistent, when it’s easy to understand what they do and who it’s for…

And that’s where I start trusting.

The word ‘branding’ gets thrown around a lot… and most of the time it just gets reduced to how things look,
but if that was the case, everyone with a “nice logo” would have a brand that really works.

The reality is a bit less surface level - it’s how clearly you’re understood, how consistently you show up,
and whether people remember you when it counts.
That’s usually where things start to slip - it happens to us all. Not because the business isn’t good, but because the brand hasn’t caught up with it yet.
that in-between stage, where things are working… just not as well as they could, that’s where I come in.

They’re not staying safe. They’re just not standing for anything.

It’s about shaping how people feel, connect, and take up space.
