It was 38°C, so I decided to do some
hill walking! 🥵

I was the only person out!

Actually, it was beautiful.
So peaceful.

I like to spend an hour or so, on my own,
to process my thoughts and enjoy nature.

Having had so many problems with my
hips, and latterly my spine, I'm incredibly
grateful for times like these.

Roses & Peonies 🌸🧡: these two beauties were battered by the wind & thunderstorms over the past few days.

I wait all year to see my Peonies bloom, then they get damaged by the weather 😢.

But these two are now in my office where I can enjoy them all day. 🩷.

🧡 Sunset Peony - what a beauty!
The flower lasts for about a week.
Each day it fades until it becomes a pale yellow.
I think it's the most stunning Oeony, and so rewarding to grow 🌿.
