How do you keep your cool when the pressure is on?
 
A big part of working in PR involves presenting and speaking to audiences, which can feel daunting, especially when addressing a large group or delivering a high-stakes pitch.
 
Here are the team’s top tips for staying grounded in those high-pressure moments:
 
Slow down – Taking a brief pause or a breath usually leads to a much clearer delivery than rushing through.
 
Stick to what you know – Keeping your focus on your core points helps keep the delivery steady and on track.
 
Don’t fear the unknown – If you get a question you can’t answer on the spot, it’s completely fine to say so. Honesty builds trust.

Yesterday, Bethan, Molly and Luan headed to London for the AI for PR Conference.
 
The agenda was jam-packed with insights from industry leaders talking about AI governance, creative uses, and the future of comms.
 
We enjoyed all the sessions but found Chris Stokel-Walker particularly insightful during his talk on how AI is reshaping the journalist-PR relationship.
 
The event also celebrated the launch of the new AI for Public Relations book, edited by Ben Verinder and Stephen Waddington!
 
Huge thanks to Andrew Thomas and Communicate magazine for hosting such a brilliant day.
