Getting people’s attention on social media isn’t always easy. Try these 3 tips to get engagement levels up:

- Appeal to their passion points. What do your customers love that can relate back to your business? Health, beauty, fitness, animals, interiors, eco-friendly, sports, fitness. Don’t be afraid to tap into these new areas!
- If you don’t know what they like, ask them! Use Instagram stories stickers like ‘Questions’ or ‘Polls’ to drive engagement or simply ask them to answer in comments. A sure fire way to learn what your customer wants from you, fast.
- Test and learn - Be brave and try new content ideas - top tips, infographics, still images or walk and talk stories. If it bombs, move on and try something else! But it’s far more likely people will relish getting a closer look at what you do 💜

Copywriting - love it or hate it, sometimes it can be so daunting to make a start on all the copy you need for your website, blog or emails. Or you’re simply not passionate about what you’ve got to write. Here’s our top 3 tips to get started on your writing tasks:
1. Don’t copy and paste. If you’ve got a copy platform, great! Use it but adapt it. Make it current. Made it relevant to the format and audience. And make it easy to understand.
2. Check out the competition. Look at what others in your area are doing. Take inspiration from what you like and take learnings from what you don’t. 3. Use synonyms. You might just have one product, but mixing up your vocab can make even a tin opener sound interesting. And if that all sounds like way too much hassle, drop me a DM! Your customers, your clients and your followers want their needs met NOW (especially if they’re millennials!). Here’s my three top tips to up your social media game:

1. Use what you have. Got one video? 🎥 Chop it up into 5 small videos - that’s five social media posts (per platform!)

2. Capitalise on the social calendar. Bank holidays, local events, National Doughnut Day 🍩 - create content on themes that lots of people will be interested in

3. Interact 🙋🏼‍♀️respond promptly to comments & DMs, comment on local business’ posts and follow people interested in what you’re all about.
