Here we go.... the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has moved a few weeks forward this year for launch but events are being uploaded now, ready for the preview on 18th February. Some very exciting new events getting added so look out for tickets going live on 24th Feb. This year we have two new travel partners - Caledonian Sleeper and LuxeScot to ensure you get about in style. The Times and The Sunday Times and Whisky Magazine continue to sponsor this fantastic festival as media partners.

A VERY SPECIAL 1965 BOTTLE & EXCLUSIVE TRIP TO COLLECT IT.... 🥃

Rarity Defined is an incredible opportunity to collect one of the last stunning bottles of 1965, 52-year-old Bowmore at the distillery. Instead of just purchasing a bottle, a special package has been created for the new owners of the last bottles, to go to Islay and collect it themselves.

BRINGING JUDY MURRAY TO MELDRUM HOUSE...

Fantastic week at Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course after months of work to bring Judy Murray to the hotel for two very special events.

An Afternoon Tea in Titan Sky Bar sold out in 25 minutes and then an evening dinner and Q&A, with host, Fred MacAulay was a cracking night and so much fun.

Judy also kindly nipped along to the hotel's local tennis club in Oldmeldrum to coach some youngster from the local school.

Haste ye back Judy - look forward to working with you again in not too distant future.

THE OLD BAKERY...

Delighted to be working again with Bowmore Cottages in Islay.

These gorgeous cottages are all individual in style. The Old Bakery is the biggest of them all - perfect for larger groups.

Built back in 1871 as the name suggest, this building was the local bakery for around 20 years. It's been used for lots of different businesses and even a home before finally being opened as one of 6 self-catering cottages they have.

With 6 ensuite bedrooms, a large lounge and kitchen diner it is in an incredible location, close to the Distillery, Bowmore Pier and Lochindaal is just a few metres from the front door.

They're gearing up for Feis Ile Festival next week but these cottages are perfect at any time of year.

WIMBLEDON-THEMED EVENT WITH JUDY MURRAY... 🎾

Delighted to have secured Judy Murray OBE for two events at Meldrum House Country Hotel & Golf Course on 19th June.

Just launched to press today, the Afternoon Tea event sold out in 25 minutes.

Tickets for the dinner at night will be an opportunity to hear some great stories from Judy’s illustrious career as well as delving into some unique ‘behind the scenes tales’ from the tennis tour and the Strictly ballroom. The evening event includes a Q&A with Judy, hosted by comedian Fred MacAulay.

The special 3-course dinner includes champagne on arrival and a Demi-Sec served with the dessert from Champagne Laurent-Perrier as well as a glass of fine wine with both the starter and main from sponsors Corney & Barrow.

Judy and Fred have been great to work with. Press coverage is filtering through. Tickets for the dinner now limited.

GLOBAL ICON – PR AGENCY OF THE YEAR 🏆

So, something very special and amazing happened this week....

The whisky world were brought together at the Waldorf Hilton in London on Wednesday night to crown the global champions at the grand finale of the Icons of Whisky Awards from Whisky Magazine.

Having won PR Agency of the Year for ‘Rest of the World’ just last month, we were now up against the other finalists of the regional heats from Scotland, Ireland, the USA, Dubai – and I’m very proud to say that 24 Keys was victorious and crowned 'Global Icon PR Agency of the Year'.

Just want to take this opportunity to THANK all our lovely clients – from the hotels to the whisky and spirit companies that we work for now and in the past.

Plus some very special people we work with (you know who you are), press, influencers and collaborators who help us highlight the clients we have.

SPIRIT OF SPEYSIDE WHISKY FESTIVAL - THE TIMES... 🥃

So proud of this...

After securing the Times as a media sponsor for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, today is the 8-page supplement featuring nearly 50 events from 30th April to 5th May.

THE NEW MELDRUM HOUSE VIDEO...

It's always a highlight of our calendar in January when the new wedding video comes out for Meldrum House Country Hotel in Aberdeenshire - bringing together a number of weddings from last year into one very special video.

It will get featured at Your Wedding Exhibition this weekend on Stand D1 and also play before each fashion show, once everyone is seated.

Thanks to Steve and Cheryl at Orchard Media & Photography for creating this year's video and capturing a number of stunning weddings the hotel had last year.

AS RARE AS GEESE'S TEETH....

Doesn't get much better than securing the front page of The Times on a Saturday and a large spread inside - rare as geese's teeth (more on that below!) ❤️

Just before the big press trip, we secured The Times to head to Islay for a weekend, staying in the gorgeous Old Bakery Cottage, owned by Bowmore Distillery.

They had an incredible weekend of weather and went out with Tom Dunn of Islay Encounters, and spent hours watching wildlife including the start of 30,000 geese that fly onto Islay just for the winter - it's quite a sight.

If you've never been to Islay, you must go. It's truly spectacular and the Bowmore Distillery Cottages are the perfect place to stay with 6 to choose from that are for two to 14 guests. Don't just take our word for that, read it in the Times!
