A Friday thought from my client Wendy at Wendy Tungate Life and Business Coach:

This has come a lot in recent conversation and always takes me back to a session in my training so I thought it might be useful...

I was going to... but..... I am really busy.. I don't think it will go down well with.. I don't think I can.. I don't know how.. I am scared.

But is a great word for building barriers. We are all fantastic at coming up with excuses without really thinking about what it is that we don't want to do or why.

However,

I was going to... and..... I have time this afternoon. It won't take me long.. I am interested to see how they respond.. I will have a go.. I can find out how from..... it is a bit scary and that's ok.

But is a barrier. And opens a gate. You choose whether you want to walk through the gate or what is really stopping you.

If you change one small word, if can change your approach to allsorts of challenges. Try it. Let me know how it goes.

Happy Monday everyone!

Just a little reminder of what I’ve been working on at The Very Cloudy Company recently.

I’ve had a lovely mix of work coming through, helping clients with their websites, advertising, social media, quotes and general business growth, as well as looking at what they’re already doing and finding ways to build on it.

And excitingly… my new garden room office is nearly finished!

I can’t wait to move in and have a proper little home for The Very Cloudy Company. My new office plaque has even gone up already!

It feels like such a lovely milestone for the business and I’m so excited to see what the next chapter brings.
