I’m loving this trend (started by .now ) where designers have been showing their brand designs, all in monochrome, side by side.

These are a selection of some of my favourites from over the years - a couple of which have just launched this year!

It’s lush seeing all these diverse folk and businesses represented altogether (even if I do, as others have also remarked, much prefer them in their technicolour glory!) and I’m so thankful and proud to have worked with them over the years. 💕

Right 2026 - let’s be havin’ ya shall we?

2025 was a WILD ride (I feel like everyone feels a little bit bruised by our last trip around the sun don’t they? Oof!) but there were some definite highs in there and that’s the energy I’m focusing on today.

2026 is going to be about staying true to my values.
Of all the goals currently clamouring for my attention, that’s the one that’s speaking the loudest.

So this year is going to be about being intentional (rather than trying to be the busiest bee and do it all!) and using my creativity to support and uplift the AMAZING organisations I’m so damned privileged to work with every single day.

Let’s do this shall we?

(But with a warm cosy drink, a blanket and some nice snacks - because it’s still mid-winter after all!)

Loved working on this!

Across 2023 and the first half of this year, at various Ashington events and across projects, we've been asking young people what they want the Ashington of the future to look like......

What's missing, what they want Ashington to be famous for, what services & shops might they like, what they'd like to see stay in the area......

We asked our friend Swaddle Creative to design us up an Ashington map of the future that represents all the the wonderful thoughts and ideas we gathered from nearly 200 Ashington young people.

From a giant slide and street bunting, to Nandos and a mental hub for young people.

An audio journey to drown out the noise of the modern world.

Devised by Northumberland theatre company, Mortal Fools, When the World is Loud is a podcast experience that explores the themes of hope, discovery and escape.

Produced during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 by their youth theatre division, this unique piece of theatre reaches out to anyone who wants to take a moment in their busy life to be calm and listen to hopeful voices. In the stressful world we still live in, this project remains so very relevant. (If you’d like to hear it – you can find it on Spotify...)

S//C created digital marketing graphics, a unique illustration style and the overall podcast design – depicting an imagined landscape made from sound.

⭐Fools Fest 2023: Through The Wardrobe is incoming! ⭐

After the success of Fools Fest 2022, Mortal Fools Youth Theatre is back with Fools Fest 2023 - bringing another two nights of community celebration and revelry to audiences in Ashington and Tyne Valley. Since September, our groups have been exploring the fantasy world of Narnia; the characters, the themes, and how they may relate to the past, present, and future of our young people’s lives.

Fools Fest 2023: Through The Wardrobe will invite audiences to gather closely around the lamp post, standing tall amidst our snow-covered forest; so get ready for an extraordinary expedition led by Mortal Fools Youth Theatre.

Across two evenings in Ashington & Tyne Valley, expect adventure, unfolding mysteries and enticing magic.

Mortal Fools Youth Theatre will take you on an epic adventure with fun-fuelled witches, graceless goblins, bizarre beasts, and a cast of crazy characters that will inspire and delight. Be prepared for fantasy stories that tug on your heartstrings and tales that make you laugh out loud!

Fools Fest is a celebration of all things creative, in the style of a cabaret event. Fools Fest showcases a variety of mini-performances, created and performed by our young people from Mortal Fools Youth Theatre. Expect everything from micro-theatre, film, music, spoken word, improv, foley, and more!

⚠️Due to limited venue space – tickets are only available to Mortal Fools Youth Theatre members and our invited community only. ⚠️

A little project share today - for the fabulous Kia Thomas Editing.

Kia came to me wanting a refresh for her brand. It needed to be bright, colourful and friendly. Plus her daughter knew it needed a rainbow in there somewhere - say no more!

Zingy branding like this makes my heart happy and knowing that Kia is out there, 'making authors shine' whilst showing off her own sparkle is just the best.
