A swarm of bees landed in our garden recently.
Turns out they had a lot to teach us about customer behaviour.
When a hive becomes overcrowded, the bees don't start again from scratch. They move as a colony, following a queen they've already learned to trust.
We see something similar in marketing.
Customers rarely switch brands because a business is new or making the most noise. They move because they believe they'll get a better outcome - towards businesses that inspire confidence, deliver value, and consistently meet expectations.
At BeeBrilliant, we're always looking for better ways to help our clients attract leads and win new business. Whether that's improving SEO, refining ad campaigns, optimising websites or sharpening messaging, the goal is the same: sustainable growth without the guesswork.
And the businesses that earn that trust are usually the ones that continue to grow.
📸 This photo was taken just a couple of weeks ago from one of our own hives. The colony had grown so well that it decided it was time to split, with thousands of bees leaving alongside the old queen to find a new home.
Luckily for us, they settled nearby. We caught the swarm, moved them into a new hive, and they're already getting on with business.
A nice reminder that growth is a good problem to have — provided you're ready for it.
