My first post of 2021 and my first real post to this account, eeek!

I thought it would be fitting for my first post to be my goals for 2021! Here’s some more detail...

1. Launch my website. I want to create a space to document my journey, share some of my content created for clients, and tips for other freelancers!

2. Uplevel my skills. I love learning, and I think this year I want to focus on bettering myself and becoming the best and what I do!

3. Take up a new hobby. I’m thinking knitting? I’ve got all the supplies for starting, it’s just actually getting the hang of it😂 it’s so hard!

4. Become more sustainable. A long term goal. Being more conscious about where I buy my clothes from, single-use plastic and so on to lead a more sustainable life!

I’m a recent graduate from the University of Nottingham where I studied International Media and Communications.

Unfortunately for me, I graduated through a pandemic making it hard for me to find a job, especially living in Chesterfield, a small town in the UK, where not many creative jobs on offer. After applying for so many jobs, I received an offer for an volunteer role as a Social Media Manager and then received another offer from a charity in my local town as a Marketing Assistant!

I have a passion for everything marketing and love to utilise my creativity through a job. Down to this, I have decided to start freelancing as a Social Media Marketer, managing small companies social media pages who especially need it in these times.
