Final day of The Garden Shows at Broadlands Estate. The rain yesterday couldn’t bring us down, today is going to be sunny spells so sunnies on, let’s go!

I’ll be manning the social media communications remotely today and be on call for any additional announcements needed.

It’s been such a fun weekend - some days I can’t believe this is my job.

I’m on site today to take photos and take video content for The Garden Shows at Broadlands Estate in Romsey. We’ve been supporting with their social media for a long time and it’s such a fun day out.

The show is running until 5pm today, 10-5 tomorrow and 10-4 tomorrow. If you fancy some artisan shopping, tasty food, specialist garden advice, talks and watching glorious bird displays then jump in the car and come and join us 🌟

There's a very special birthday here today! Fern is turning 30, the big 3, 0. 🎂 🥳

Fern has been with us for almost 3 years and looks after many of our lovely clients social media channels as well as supporting in other areas of marketing including SEO and website content.

We hope your day is filled with wine, chocolate and cake. Put your feet up, you've earned it! Happy Birthday Fern!

Next week is a very special occasion for us. Our Speccy wedding! 👰 🤵

Dan & Laura are tying the knot on Wednesday 25th May so our office will be closed from 24th May - 13th June.

This is the first time our office has been fully closed (ever!). We will deal with all your enquiries when we get home. Anything that you think might need some assistance before we take some time off, please email us ASAP.

If we don't speak to you before, we will greet you as Mr & Mrs Meade on our return. 💕

Friday fact for you….We recently ran a website audit and optimisation with and are very happy with the results.

Before optimisation, our mobile homepage produced 351.78kg of CO2 emissions per year 👎 – that’s enough energy to make 47,676.2 cups of tea. ☕️

Now, our homepage emits only 12.3kg per year – that’s the same amount of carbon over the course of a year that one tree absorbs. 🌳

Website Launch 🚀

Wellbeing at Work is a platform designed to help employers and managers make the mental health and wellbeing of employees a strategic priority.

We had been working for a long time with the Wellbeing at Work team as they were previously known; Future of work insights

So when the CEO, Chris Cummings, told us of their rebrand and that he wanted to invite us to pitch to design and build the new brand website, we jumped at the chance!

We won that pitch (as you may have guessed) and so we set about designing a website that delivered an attractive yet stress free experience for the visitor

New website launch!

The Sunflower Network is a community of professionals working in the field of child mental health.

When the founder, Lou, approached us in early 2021 she told us of this desperate need for central hub where those looking for support could find it, while offering a supportive and engaging community for professionals to share, learn and refer.

We worked with Lou and her team over the course of 9 months to create a new brand aesthetic and logo, prototyping and extensive user testing, web-app design and build, together with SSO (Single Sign-on) integration with community software circle.so

The Sunflower Network has an industry leading extensive application process for professionals which required the application process to allow professionals to save their progress and return to it at a later point after taken a break or gathered more information.

When an application is submitted, Lou and her team are then notified and can review the application before approving the professional to be a part of the network.

The website has just launched and Speccy will sponsor three annual memberships for professionals and support groups to be a part of the community.

A throwback to one of our very first web design projects as Speccy.

Creator of Nosh, Tan had grown an engaged Instagram audience that couldn’t get enough of her “Luscious balls of energy”.

But there was a problem.

Tan didn’t have an online home for her nutritious energy balls and took orders manually via direct message. 💬

As you can imagine that quickly became just a tad stressful for Tan keeping track of and on top of orders (though she managed it remarkably well!) 👏

Tan asked us to design and build a simple e-commerce website to help her sell her delicious treats whilst offering secure payments and customer accounts so that customers could keep track of their orders.
