Its been a tough start to 2026 for golf clubs, needless to say the rain has been relentless.
Despite less than perfect conditions over the winter, we’ve always advocated for clubs to continue marketing throughout the off season, irrespective of bad weather and reduced tee time capacity, and our latest result shows exactly why.
The sun is starting to poke its head out, golfers are picking the clubs up again, and in just 10 days of March our sales team has delivered over £20,000 worth of new members to our client, Chobham Golf Club.
Every one of these golfers enquired when the rain was falling. We started conversations, kept up communication, and, now the time is right, it’s turned into money in the till.
95% of your audience isn’t ready to buy. But the combination of rigorous and varied marketing techniques, a well positioned offer, and a comprehensive and conscientious follow-up process has meant that, for these golfers, Chobham was their club of choice when they were.
It also ticked us very nicely over a milestone of 200 new members directly sent to the club from our sales team over the last 3 years (on top of hundreds more the club has seen from our partnership)
