I’ve never been to such a joyful book launch!

After working with Chris on it over eight months, The Well of Silence is out in the world and it looks fantastic.
😊🙌📘

Saturday was everything you’d expect from the legend that is Chris North Author And Storyteller – fun, creative, inspirational, positive and beautiful shared connections.

And I’ve never seen so much love and appreciation in one room. This incredible man with his incredible journey and incredible story certainly deserved it.

Few things bring me more joy than my clients getting ace feedback about websites I’ve worked on.

I'm looking forward to attending a very special event tomorrow.

Chris North Author And Storyteller is launching The Well of Silence, his memoir in graphic novel form.

I've been working on this with Chris since last autumn, and I can't believe it's almost time for his incredible life story to come into the world.

This quote, which I chose to go on Chris's front cover, says it all:

And it's been described as "one of the bravest books you'll ever read". This is all true; it's something very special that's sure to help inform and comfort so many.

I had the honour of attending Billilit Book Festival on Saturday.

I was invited to be part of a publishing panel with Bethan Moore and Sara Starbuck.

The panel was a lot of fun and I met and reconnected with some fabulous folk.

I enjoyed the jazz band, the tea tent and the nature poems from Billingshurst Primary Academy (right up my street 💚).

Thanks so much to Ted Gooda and Julia Jepps for organising such a classy festival. It may be small but it’s mighty!

I’ve been busy getting Chris‘s graphic novel ready for print this week.

As well as proofreading, I’ve been communicating with the typesetter and printer to pull the project together.

I don’t just offer editing, proofreading and book marketing. I’ll help you along on your entire self-publishing journey. 📚😊🙌

For quite a long time I’ve been working on something greatly personal; my autobiography in graphic form which travels along my life story exploring identity, silence, creativity, resilience and fulfillment. It’s been one of my most emotional and meaningful journeys and in sharing it I hope it will enable others on their journeys too. I’ve been incredibly privileged to work with an editor - Katy Lassetter - who has brought not only skill and knowledge but enormous sensitivity, encouragement and understanding to this project. Katy has helped to safely hold the heart of my story. I’m hugely grateful.

I'm off to BilliLit! 📚😊🙌

After my successful talk on editing and proofreading for West Sussex Writers in March, I've been asked to be on a panel at this year's Billilit.

I'm part of the Inside Publishing panel with Sara Starbuck and Bethan Moore at 13.45 on Saturday, 16 May.

I'm really looking forward to meeting my fellow panel members and talking about all things editing and publishing.

What a writerly wellbeing weekend!

Friday, I provided social media support to one of my health and wellness authors, Sharon Brisley-Moore .

It was Sharon’s first talk and stress awareness workshop at The Green Door Centre. 💚

Saturday, we went to Bournemouth and chilled at the Village Hotel spa facilities to prepare for a busy Sunday. 🏊🏻‍♀️ 🧘🏻‍♀️

Sunday, we set up Sharon’s book stall at Bournemouth Writing Festival and she did her first panel talk. 📚

I took so many photos and videos. We met so many amazing people IRL, including the lovely Story Healing with Debra.

I’m not just an editor, proofreader and project manager who can help you through the entire self-publishing process, I’ll help you promote your books after publishing too.

I train authors on how to use social media (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram) to raise awareness of their brand and books.

And I’m always on hand to help with content strategy and creation. Taking photos is the tip of the digital iceberg.

What a fantastic experience at this year's .

A huge shout out to my wing girl Amigo .lassetter Having you there sharing my first festival seemed like the perfect full circle moment.

From that very first phone call to seek my editor for 'Over Catastrophising Daily' we have grown more than a professional bond, we have developed a beautiful friendship, where you have been able to see my journey as an indie, slowly unfold. This weekend was a double whammy having done my first talk on Friday and my first panel session on Sunday.
