Hey Facebooker’s 👋

Just checking in really - I’ve not posted for a while simply because I’ve been too busy.

I’m still working for Gloucester Rocks on weekly basis whilst doing some freelance work (mostly logo design, social media management and Wordpress websites). Of course I’ve still been sorting AB Motor Vehicle Services out too - bound to that one 😉

This last few weeks I’ve had several recommendations for work which I really appreciate! Today I’ve just committed myself on a freelance basis to a local charity which is really exciting so my regular hours are maxed out.

I’m still available for ad-hoc design work and will posting some projects in the coming weeks.

I’ve seen an increase in requests for social media management work so I’ll be giving myself a little rebrand too 💫 it’s about time!

If you know you’ve got projects you’d like me to help with I’ll have more hours again come September so message me now to snap me up 🤩

It’s been lovely working on the Gloucester Rocks website, especially since I’m always looking for ways to entertain my three littlies! The website is up and running but it’s a continuous project so I’ll still be adding new things and managing their social media ☺️

For things to do in Gloucester with the kids visit the new Gloucester Rocks website - it’s now live! I’ve been gathering as much local info as possible to get on there but there’s still more to come!

If you are hosting events in Gloucester let me know and I’ll get them added.

Go...go...go!!! Gloucester Rocks website is now live. It’s packed full of places to visit, parks and walks in Gloucester. Don’t forget to tag us while you’re out and about visiting and also let us know if you think anything should be added.

With lockdown restrictions easing, baby and toddler groups will also be reopening so I’m busy gathering information ready for when they do. If you run a group please email [email protected] with the information and I’ll get them added to the website!

Super excited about my next project...getting ‘Gloucester Rocks’ back up and running again! I’ll be updating the directory with as many family friendly things to do in Gloucester as well as taking control of their social media!

I can’t wait to get stuck in - mainly because I used the Cheltenham Rocks website almost daily while my twins were babies, looking for things to keep us occupied and always wondered why there wasn’t a Gloucester version. During the last couple of years we’ve visited many of the local attractions available, discovered new parks and walks and pottered about to keep ourselves occupied so I’m thrilled to be getting involved to help other family’s find ways to keep themselves entertained!

Gloucester Rocks I’m coming for you 🤩

Who needs a roofer? I've got one for you...Niall, he's a gem and I've just designed his logo for him. After speaking with Niall I was shocked to hear that he wasn't on social media. So many trades aren't online and it's such a shame. I've tasked him to take some photos whilst working, and he's about to get some branded uniform too so next task...get online!

COVID MISHAPS 🤦🏻‍♀️
Whilst we’ve been getting used to Covid restrictions during the last few months it feels completely different in the work place compared to at home.

At home the kids are on me 24/7, we keep our distance with visitors and obviously wear masks when we go out (although I still often forget and have to go back for one despite keeping them in my car, bag, coat pocket etc!) but it’s work interactions that completely slipped my mind.

I had a meeting and reached out to shake somebody’s hand 🤦🏻‍♀️ obviously they held back and we all made a little joke about how things have changed but it dawned on me just how crazy times have become. And the rules make it confusing too don’t they. Some offices you don’t have to wear a mask where as in others you do. I’ve been given this visor to wear during filming which isn’t so bad but it’s another thing to remember 🙈 and there is an endless supply of cleaning products available to wipe down desks, surfaces and equipment which is brilliant because I like a little clean up but I don’t think I’m ever going to get used to having to live this way maybe in time it’ll become second nature?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s like riding a bike...you never forget!
I’ve been getting to grips with the equipment today. My camera at home is canon, here is Sony. The same but different seems to be the theme of the week!
