Your Logo Is Your First Impression – Don’t Overcomplicate It!
Your business branding starts with a quality logo – one that’s clear, recognisable, and works everywhere. But too often, we see logos crammed with:
❌ Unnecessary text
❌ Complicated shapes
❌ Tiny details that disappear when embroidered
Think of the biggest brands in the world: Apple, McDonald’s, B&Q, Tesco. Simple. Recognisable. No distractions. That’s how branding wins.
Take Berry’s (pic below) – clean white embroidery on a black polo. Easy to read, easy to remember. Perfect.
Now, compare that to another local firm we worked with. Their original logo had shading, random futuristic circuit lines, and a design that didn’t scream “construction” at all. We stripped it back to Sarjant Construction with a simple house icon. Now it’s clear, professional, and instantly recognisable. (Swipe to see the before & after!)
💡 As Alexandra Watkins says in Hello, My Name is Awesome – “If you have to explain your brand name or logo, you’ve already lost.”
Your logo should:
✔ Be easy to read & recognise
✔ Work across all branding – print, embroidery, signage
✔ Make your business look professional & memorable
