Living in Wales is an absolute dream and I’m so happy that I get to call it ‘home’ for my wife and I. However, after this awesome weather here recently, it made me think about the most stunning outdoor kitchen that I’d built in our previous garden and how I would have loved to have it here right now!! 😂
Take a look at these brilliant photos of our previous outdoor space, taken by my wife, capturing her very own design and built by myself, using only the scrap paper sketch in biro pen that she handed to me! 🤣

Currently laying a stunning ‘classic sunset buff’ patio for another fantastic local client! After starting the slab laying today, and with some more to finish off tomorrow and Thursday, followed by the pointing to be done until completion, I’m happy with how this is looking so far.
The Welsh weather has been perfect this week, ideal for working in the great outdoors! ☀️

Currently, a small project on the go for a local client who is excited at seeing the progress - drainage installed, base levelled and ready for the concrete pouring tomorrow morning, in prep for a new vehicle wash area! 🚲 🏍️ 🚗 🚜

Wow, what a week for Sparrowhawk Builders! It’s been an absolute pleasure to work for these fantastic clients, based in Whitland. The project involved removing an old fence and replacing it with some of the original stone from Whitland Abbey, creating a stunning wall, complete with traditional ‘Kings & Queens’ topping!
I’ve had an interesting week, meeting so many amazing local residents and engaging in some great conversations from passers by (the many compliments on the wall have been nice to hear too!) - one of my favourite projects to date since moving to Wales last year.
I shall certainly miss these particular clients, especially little Scruffy, the Yorkshire terrier! 😉
