This one’s called France September 2025, a travel photo zine made as a keepsake for friends and family.

We printed it A5, full colour throughout, on 170gsm uncoated stock (cover and text) so it feels dry, soft, and made to be handled.

At 52 pages, it’s right up near the limit for stapled binding, which gives it a little bounce when you flip but it still opens up nicely. The mix of full-bleed spreads and clean white borders keeps the pacing spot on.

That pile is what May and June looked like for us. Degree show catalogues, zines, magazines, photobooks, children's books, photography books, childrens books and so much more.

Every single book in that pile was someone's project, someone's idea, something they had spent time making and wanted to hold in their hands. Our favourite part of the job is still the message that comes in when the delivery arrives and the client is happy with what they've got. That bit genuinely never gets old

We have been following this shop on Instagram for a while, so when I ended up in New York recently, I knew I had to go and see it in person. Casa Magazines in the West Village is an awesome independent shop stocking publications from all over the world, covering everything and people genuinely make the trip just to have a browse.

How do you showcase a whole class of emerging photographers in one piece of print? The Photography Foundation chose this A5, 52-page degree show catalogue – wire stitched, silk throughout and full of bold imagery.

Each trainee gets an artist statement and a hero portrait, with extra room for grids of live shows, documentary work and studio experiments. The silk stock keeps colours punchy and skin tones smooth, while the A5 format is perfect for slipping into bags and portfolios after the show.

We worked closely with the TPF team on proofs, bleed and reprints to make sure everything landed in time for their tight deadline.
