2025 is going to be a year of big changes for us here, and that starts with a change of name. You'll notice we are changing our social media accounts and over the next few months we will be be updating all of our branding to reflect this change.
Why change? Well, lots of reasons. Colletts Farm is a name we've used for over 10 years now but it doesn't convey the fact that this is our business. Sophie and I have built this, not without help, but for the most part it is just the two of us. We are not a big, corporate business. If you phone or email, it is one of us who replies. It's usually one of us on the farm when you visit us here, or one of us at the farmers markets we attend, and we are very proud of what we have achieved.
Secondly, Colletts Farm is the name of the farm we are based on. There is no Collette here, as many people think Sophie is called, and Colletts is not our surname either. We have been offered an incredible opportunity to move our business just a few miles up the road to another farm and it would be wrong to take the name with us.
Hang on, we are moving? Yes, although not just yet. We have been renting the farm here for a long time, and have achieved so much. But we realise that we are out growing it, not in terms of land or size but in other ways. We have so much we still want to do and we need to move to achieve that. Just to clear up the inevitable rumours, this has been 100% our decision, we have not been forced to leave. The owners of Colletts Farm know of our plans and we have been wished well by them. It doesn't mean we will be giving up the farm here just yet either, we have obligations under our tenancy to continue here for sometime yet.
For the time being there will be no difference and you'll still be able to come to the farm as usual. Our plans are to continue as we have here, just at a different location and don't worry, that includes raw milk!
There is much to be done at our new farm and we hope that there will be opportunities for anyone who wants to, to be able to come and give a hand. More details will follow in due course. But for now, just keep coming, buying and enjoying our produce, and supporting Tim & Sophie's Farm!

It was a big weekend for some of our clients last week, with Lifesaver Power exhibiting at the Aintree Racecourse Grand National Festival, and The BIG Sing and Howard Francis wowing the judges on Britain's Got Talent.

We are so thrilled to work with such a diverse range of businesses, and to see them grow. We have produced a HUGE variety of design work for Lifesaver, The BIG Sing and Howard Francis over the years, including; logo design/branding, websites, branded vehicle and product design, exhibition displays, ads and various marketing campaigns.

We love when our clients share in our interests. 🙌🏻

Kayte had a brilliant day at Landrover Burghley Horse Trials on Saturday watching the cross country and visiting our friends at Lifesaver Power.

Lifesaver Power offer portable power banks to rent or purchase across a wide range of high profile events. We have enjoyed producing marketing collateral, including exhibition/kiosk signage, vehicle wraps, and branded sleeves for multiple sporting events and festivals over the summer, and it was great to finally see it in action on location.

Lifesaver’s bold identity helps them to stand out amongst huge crowds and trade stands, whilst projecting a clear and instantly recognisable message.

We would also like to say a huge congratulations to Piggy March for such a well deserved win, you were an absolute joy to watch! 🐎

We talked in the New Year about the importance of taking a step back and reflecting on changes and growth to your business, and assessing whether or not your current identity is working it’s hardest for you as your company evolves.

It’s important to look at your brand identity as a journey, and to move forwards making tweaks and changes where necessary.

When we first started working with Lewis from Your Great Adventures - Personal Travel Planning, he had a very clear vision of what he wanted his brand to be. His fun, bold identity definitely helped him to stand out in a crowded market and conveyed a niche he wanted to pursue.

However, reflecting on his brand as it stood a couple of years later, and the direction that Lewis wished to take the business, there was a definite realisation that his current identity was no longer representative of this. Lewis wished to tap into the wider market, in particular honeymooners and luxury cruises, as well as pack-&-go family breaks.

Moving away from the Disney-esque style he’d originally opted for, we worked with his initial colour palette, flow and whimsical feel to create an identity that better conveyed the wide variety of products that Your Great Adventures offers, adding a sense of maturity and a more polished overall look.

Lewis says:

“Having reflected on how we’ve promoted ourselves initially, we’ve realised there was an early perception that we only worked on Disney holidays and this really isn’t the case. Our future focus will be more on tailor-made multi centre trips, cruises, luxury holidays and honeymoons, with some adventure tours thrown in and this means that our advertising will be more focused to those holiday types and we will be attending some wedding fairs in the future”.
