LOCAL PROJECTS – EXPRESS YOUR VIEW

‘Planning Gain’ (S.106): It is understood that some £400,000 is available to fund projects to mitigate the impact of the local developments.

The Councils appear to have listed three projects – a community facility with changing rooms, at the Glebe upgrade at MICA Centre and a healthcare centre/GP surgery.

We have received letters and comments with other suggestions. We have been asked to list the projects to allow the community to select their favourite. We will publish the results in the next issue.
We are aware that technical, legal and financial issues could mean that projects could not be delivered but at least the local views would be known.

FORTHCOMING EVENT - "Come and visit the Harvest Flower Festival, at St Luke’s Church Tiptree (CO5 0SU) over the weekend of Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October. There will also be a Harvest Food & Craft Fayre in the Extension Hall on Saturday 30th September, from 10 am to 1 pm with refreshments. The Harvest Festival (collecting for the Foodbank) is on Sunday 1st October at 9.30 am. You can come to see the flower arrangements on both days of the weekend and in the week following when the Church will be open daily from Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm."
