Loving this from Summit - TMHS - if you are neurodivergent and would like to share your story, get in touch with them!
🎉 We're excited to share that, as of last week, The Neurodivergent Truth has now reached over 50 lived experience interviews.
A huge thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences with us so far. Your honesty, trust and passion for this project are helping to create something we believe can make a real lasting difference.
The Neurodivergent Truth is a self-funded, neurodivergent-led project capturing authentic lived experiences from neurodivergent people across Essex. Every conversation gives us a deeper understanding of what it's really like to be neurodivergent today, celebrating strengths while shining a light on the barriers people continue to face. Through these anonymised stories, we aim to broaden understanding, challenge misconceptions, empower neurodivergent people, and help shape better support and services.
At the heart of the project is the creation of a free online library of anonymised lived experience. Instead of stories disappearing into a report, they'll become part of a growing resource that anyone can access, learn from and build on to create positive change, continuing to inform, inspire and empower people long after the project has ended.
Because the library will be freely available, it can help shape education, research, training, awareness, service design, policy, and other non-commercial resources developed by SUMMIT and others. Our ambition is to create something that belongs to everyone: a lasting resource that keeps lived experience at the heart of conversations about neurodivergence, strengthens self-advocacy, and helps create positive change for years to come.
This is only the beginning, and we're excited to see where the next 50 stories take us.

We're also exploring a new monthly peer support group for Autistic and ADHD women in Essex experiencing hormonal changes, perimenopause and menopause. If you'd like to help shape this group, we'd love to hear your thoughts through our anonymous survey.
