Tomorrow is a big one. 🎙 🦅

I have been looking forward to this conversation for a long time. Tomorrow we sit down with a man who spent 36 years with the RSPB two decades of that on the Isle of Mull watching a species come back from extinction with his own eyes.

The white-tailed eagle was gone from Britain. Shot out of existence. And this man dedicated his life to bringing it back.

I cannot say too much yet. But this episode is going to be something special.

Nature’s Raw Pursuit.

A baby Tawny Owl. Just sitting there. In Wales. Staring straight at me like I was the one who didn’t belong.

This is what happens when you slow down and actually look at the world around you. Most people walked straight past these beautiful owls without ever knowing it was there.

This is why I do what I do. 🦉🌿

If you find a baby owl on the ground don’t panic and don’t pick it up. It has almost certainly just fledged and mum is nearby watching. Leave it alone and let nature do its thing.

Kestrel populations have declined by 49% according to official UK Government wildlife data. Moments like this are becoming increasingly rare across Britain. We film these encounters to remind people what we still have and what we stand to lose. Have you ever seen a Kestrel in the wild? Drop it below.

The algorithm might want trends, but the UK sky belongs to this.
The Red Kite is one of the greatest conservation success stories in British history. By the 1980s, human persecution drove them down to just a few remaining pairs in Wales. Thanks to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and intense reintroduction efforts, they are back.
But the fight isn’t over. Illegal poisoning and shooting on shooting estates still happen far too often. They are legally protected, but laws only work if people are watching.
Let’s prove the algorithm wrong. Drop a 3 if you’ve seen a
Red Kite in your area, Let’s map out how far they’ve come.

Perfect camouflage, or a perfect reminder of what we stand to lose? 🌿🦉Encounters like this are only possible when we protect intact, healthy ecosystems. Owls rely heavily on old growth trees, thick moss, and undisturbed woodlands to nest and hunt. When we protect the forest, we protect the complex web of life that calls it home.

The moment you spot a phantom at sunset... I couldn’t even talk to the camera properly 😂
There is nothing quite like the rush of tracking wildlife and suddenly locking eyes with an owlet. I spotted the mom flying off, and right down the fence line was this incredibly fluffy little Tawny Owl brancher just chilling in the evenings sun. Watch until the end to see the final shot from my Sony a7RV! Have you ever stumbled across an owl during the day? Let me know below!

We drove deep into Wales for ONE specific shot... and the ending did NOT disappoint. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🦅

Most people think this bird is frozen in mid air. It’s not. It’s hunting. The Common kestrel is one of the few birds on Earth that can hover with surgical precision, holding itself almost perfectly still against the wind. But here’s what most people don’t realize It’s not just hovering it’s calculating. Kestrels can actually see ultraviolet light, something invisible to us. Why does that matter? Because small mammals like voles leave behind urine trails that reflect UV light. So while we see empty grass the kestrel sees glowing pathways of prey for dinner

Managed to get my lens focused on this incredible acrobat today! 🦅✨
It’s hard to believe that not too long ago, seeing a Red Kite (Milvus milvus) would have been nearly impossible. They were once driven to near extinction in the UK, surviving only in a small part of Wales. Today, they are one of our greatest conservation success stories! That deeply forked tail is the easiest way to spot them they use it like a rudder to pull off those signature agile twists and turns. It’s pure poetry in motion. They are brilliant scavengers. just sit back, keep the camera ready, and enjoy the show! 📸
Have you seen many of these soaring over your area lately?
