The digital landscape continues to move quickly, and building confidence, capability and practical understanding remains essential for businesses looking to grow and adapt.

Acknowledging this constant need for development, over the past two years, the team at Digital Cheshire and TMC have collectively planned and delivered 48 masterclasses across a mix of virtual and in-person sessions, covering key areas of digital marketing, content, social media, SEO, AI and online visibility.

It was fantastic to celebrate the end of the series with last week's event, giving us a chance to reflect on the impact of the programme with 500+ businesses supported, and 800+ attendees across the series.

Marketing has always been shaped by change. AI is simply the latest test of our adaptability.

TMC’s Marketing Director, Jess Peake, explores the ‘dark’ truth behind marketing’s AI readiness; from fast adoption and team confidence to process, governance and the careful balance between productivity and human judgement.

A thoughtful read for any marketing leader navigating AI integration with both ambition and caution.

“You think darkness is your ally?” It’s a line many will recognise, and for marketers, the metaphor holds up surprisingly well. Change can feel uncomfortable,

A career in communications can be difficult to picture from the outside.

You might witness the final campaign, the social post, the website or the event, but the thinking, collaboration and relationships behind it aren't always visible.

TMC's Future Vision programme is designed to change this; providing those who are exploring a career in marketing and communications the chance to experience agency life from the inside, spending time across different departments to understand how strategy, creative, digital and client services come together.

In 2025, Lonnie joined us on a work placement. Today, she is an invaluable member of our Client Services team, expertly managing her own clients and projects.

For TMC, Future Vision is about supporting the next generation of creative communicators with real insight, practical experience and the confidence to see where they could belong.

Over 12,000 participants. Days of long-awaited peer-to-peer conversations. Education that influences real-world clinical practice.

The question is, how do you capture the momentum of this diverse and energetic cardiovascular course, while it’s happening?

Working side-by-side with PCRonline at last week, TMC were on the ground in Paris producing 'The Daily Wire'; a publication designed to translate the fast-paced energy of the event into meaningful insights.

Delivering a high-quality daily newspaper within a live environment takes careful planning and collaboration, with an editorial strategy that moves as fast as the science itself - bringing together the latest updates, highlights and perspectives in a format that’s both timely and accessible.

Projects like this, where we have the opportunity to strengthen our partnerships and work closely with our clients in a real-world setting, make us incredibly proud.

The biggest digital marketing takeaway this month? Search, social and AI systems are no longer operating independently.

AI is fundamentally changing how brands are discovered, shifting the power from paid reach to earned reputation.

TMC PR experts, Katherine Smith and Clare Booth joined the Puddle Ducks Franchising Ltd Annual Conference alongside Sophie Brown to explore this transition within franchise brands. As AI-driven search experiences become the norm, we are seeing a critical shift: discovery is becoming increasingly reputation-led.

For franchises, visibility no longer depends solely on national rankings. Instead, AI models are surfacing brands based on:

- Community trust - real conversations and creator-led content.
- Local authenticity - search signals and verified, high-quality reviews.
- Trusted influence - authentic PR coverage and credible associations.

The organisations that win in this new era will be those that translate their expertise into trusted reputation signals across their entire digital landscape.

A huge thank you to Puddle Ducks for inviting us to contribute to such a forward-thinking discussion. It’s inspiring to work with partners committed to navigating technology responsibly to create a lasting positive impact.

Cardiovascular disease remains one of the world’s greatest health challenges, making access to clear, credible data more important than ever.

The World Heart Federation has officially launched the World Heart Report 2026; a vital resource for medical societies, healthcare leaders and global stakeholders worldwide.

We’re proud to have supported WHF, helping to create a clear and intuitive digital experience that makes the report’s insights easier to access, understand and share.

The exit of a long-serving CEO isn't just a corporate milestone; it’s a deeply human one.

Whether it’s an internal promotion or a fresh appointment, the way a business communicates that change shapes the perception of their brand.

Transitions are an opportunity to translate change into trusted influence. When partnering with leadership teams during these pivotal moments, it's important to ensure that strategic communication does more than just 'manage the news.' By grounding the narrative in human insight, we help our clients signal stability and set a new vision in motion with the clarity, confidence, and credibility their audiences expect. It’s about turning a period of uncertainty into a platform for lasting positive impact.

PR Expert, Emma, explores how strategic communication repositions organisational scrutiny into a platform for lasting positive impact.

'Over 236,000 people in England are currently waiting for an autism assessment.'

This statistic, and many others like it, demonstrate that Neurodiversity is a topic that affects us all - personally and professionally.

Yesterday afternoon, TMC were delighted to welcome Emma Myles from Petty Pool Vocational College back to The Space Congleton to guide our team through the first of four dedicated training sessions on the subject.

At the heart of any successful communications are human insight, so Emma's introductory session wasn't just about learning condition definitions. It was about embracing the different ways our team process the world and ensuring we continue to build meaningful connections with clarity and care.

A huge thank you to Emma for creating such an honest space. Recognising that every mind is "brilliantly different" allows us to embrace our strengths and continue to 'create positive impact'.
