Not the usual project for me… but definitely one of my favourites 😂

Petals of Hexham came to us looking for a complete website refresh that better reflected the business, the experience they offer, and the incredible reputation they’ve built over the last 25 years.

What Emma, Liz and the team do goes far beyond selling lingerie. It’s about confidence, comfort, reassurance and helping women feel amazing in their own skin - and I wanted the new website to capture all of that properly.

Living in Corbridge, I see this place every day, so when I was asked to design a logo for a local pre-school, I really wanted to get it right.

The brief was to keep things fun and child-friendly, but also include a subtle nod to the history and character of the village. That balance took a bit of exploring. 😮‍💨💡

I’ve shared some of the early concepts here, which I don’t usually do, but I think it’s important to show that these things don’t just appear fully formed. There’s always a proper professional process behind it, finished with a fully vector logo in multiple formats (Not just some random AI images).

Each route had a different theme and style, and it was about finding the one that clicked and matched the vision of the client, then developing that further into the finished article.

Really happy with where we landed in the end - and even better knowing it’s something that’ll be part of our amazing village.

Always a pleasure when you get to work with people who genuinely take pride in what they do 🙌🏻

This latest website was built for Rob Robson, as he branches out from his established business Robson Contracting into a new venture - Robson Utilities.

One thing that made this project run extra smoothly was the quality of Rob’s work.

A website is only ever as strong as what it showcases - and with a portfolio of tidy, efficient, and well-executed jobs, this one came together brilliantly 🔥

From domain purchase and hosting, through to full design and SEO, we handled the whole process to get the new business up and running online.

When the water rises… this is what stands in its way💧

After months of work, this flood defence system from SHR Excavations is now actively protecting the surrounding area - holding back water, reducing risk, and proving its value where it matters most.

We’ve followed this project from the very beginning, so coming back to capture it in action was a proper full-circle moment 👷‍♂️ Huge thanks to MD for trusting the process!

Filmed on a crisp 2°C North East morning - hands were freezing, the drone definitely wasn’t impressed, but worth every second to see the final result working exactly as intended.

We also created and added the voiceover to ensure the viewers knew exactly what was happening and why this is so important.

A fresh new look for Ross Dart 🔧🚗

Ross has been a trusted mechanic in Hexham for years, but his old logo… let’s just say it had definitely seen better days 😅 So this time, we didn’t just tweak it - we completely reinvented the wheel (excuse the terrible pun).

We went back to the drawing board and created 6 brand new, bespoke concepts, all designed to bring the brand up to the standard his reputation already deserves.

We landed on a bold, modern direction - keeping the name nice and classic (because it’s already well known), alongside a graphic that subtly combines:
✅ A car wheel
✅ A speedometer
✅ And a dartboard (a little nod to the name 🎯)

A nice way of keeping that recognisable identity, but bringing it properly up to date.

Another local business, now looking as good as the service they deliver 🙌

When your client is an entrepreneur with a background in fashion, marketing and brand building… you know the pressure is ON 😅

came to me (via referral from 🤍) with a very clear vision for her new celebrant business.

She needed a logo that felt calm, natural and flexible enough to sit beautifully across both joyful and reflective occasions - everything from weddings and vow renewals to naming ceremonies and funerals… no easy task 😮‍💨

She doesn’t just turn up and conduct ceremonies; her service is all about connection, care and truly getting to know each couple or family.

She becomes a real helping hand, building genuine relationships and creating something deeply personal every time.

The branding needed to reflect that same level of care and individuality, so the JM icon (her initials) was illustrated completely from scratch (no off-the-shelf fonts here 👀).

This makes it totally unique to Jessica - just like the bespoke service she offers. And there’s a subtle hidden detail… the ‘J’ can also be read as an “I”, quietly saying: I’m Celebrant Jessica.

Because a beautifully personal service deserves beautifully personal branding 🤍

Another website out the door this week 🙌🏻🛜

This one was built for Occupational Therapist Stuart Brown…

Stuart was looking for a clean, easy-to-navigate site to build awareness and promote his services across the UK and Europe - so the SEO and GEO had to be carefully tailored to reach the right audience.

He’d already purchased his domain, so we handled the DNS transfer and set up the SSL ready for the new launch.

The result is a professional, user-friendly website designed to build trust and help new clients find his business online.

We’re looking forward to seeing how this one performs and helps generate new opportunities over time...
