From December 2020, I got the work to letter 70 vehicles, Kangoos, NV200, Vivaros, Mercedes, Taxis, Leaf's and Corsas for the Transport Services of Coventry with Electric Fleet First graphics for 6 month free trials of the all electric vehicles for local businesses. That scheme came to an end late last year so we had to clean them all off, one by one and re-letter them all with a new design. They are all done now, after these last 2 months, bar one rogue Corsa someone hasn't returned yet!! I've also lettered 45 of the R & M Facilites management vans, a few bin lorries, tractors, mowers, allsorts! along the last few years too!

A fantastic job to do in Hotel Brooklyn Leicester last summer, hotel being built around us at the time that is right next to Leicester Tigers Rugby ground. Hotel is all finished and open now. I've also done similar work at The Hotel Brooklyn Manchester a couple of years ago. Ghost signwriting above the bars and shop inside for a nice change! using towers. The health and safety forms, induction and PPE we had to use to do the job was a nightmare! Them suits made us sweat a lot! But it was worth it! https://bespokehotels.com/brooklynleicester/

Re-sharing some fun Illy history!😁It's me in the 80's being tormented by fellow workers, actually with wood nailed across my legs into a pallet!🤣🤣

A photo of me from the original Illingworth Signs workshop probably around 1980 or 81 ish of me being nailed into a pallet with wood across my legs with my protest! by my fellow work mates and left in the middle of the lane for them to have a laugh!! After a few minutes, and me panicking and screaming with the cars and Owen Owen lorries going by me there, they put me and this pallet onto the back of our pickup truck and left me for ages, laughing at me out the windows of the building behind me! I couldn't get out of the pallet without a screwdriver! 🤣🤣We had such a laugh in those days. Always playing tricks on each other and got away with murder too! Great days and such fun Terry Illingworth, my dad! 😍

I’ve been working on lettering many vehicles (of a planned up to 70 fleet of vehicles) Kangoos, Nissan Vivaro vans, NV200, Nissan Leaf's, Taxis and Corsa cars that can be hired for a FREE 3 month trial from the council. Over 50 are on now lettered and on the road now! Another 3 done yesterday! Any local businesses can apply for this scheme and has been very successful so far. Including myself! It is so people can see if it could work for them as it will be happening in the future for all vehicles to be electric.
Coventry has also been recently reported as the best place in mainland Britain for owning an electric vehicle too with an electric charging point for every 2.5 cars registered!

P.S. They are great to drive. Silent except for reversing. Feels like being on a bumper car without the bumping!

TADA! More old skool signwriting done recently at The Telegraph hotel on the roof top bar, that opened officially 14th April. This can be seen from The Belgrade now! We got to sample some of the menu that they we're trialing too! NOM NOM! Gonna be lovely bar and hotel to visit! (It has outdoor heaters if needed now too!)

The new Telegraph Hotel work I've been working on, (on and off for over a year!) is almost finished now, as is the 88 room hotel with conference rooms, rooftop bar, inside bar and Forme & Chase restaurant, ready for opening 4th December.
