While we're still talking about carbon... As well as planting Trees for every hosting package we create 🌱 AND planting further trees for every managed word press package, Plexus is delighted to have recently completed work for the new Carbon Neutral Islands website.

CNI is a Scottish Government Programme supporting 6 Islands to become Carbon Neutral by 2040.

The six islands will act as ‘Lighthouse Communities’ for other Scottish islands and as catalysts for net zero action across Scotland.

The website aims to document and share its learnings so it can be used as an online resource, packed with information on the process/planning/funding in order to help other Islands or Communities who are looking into becoming Carbon Neutral. Good work guys 👏 Find out more at:

A personal project for Jamie. With his eternal love for all things music, Jamie has built a rather nifty site for one of his most listened to podcasts, created by Ian Forth who has named the show after his all-time favourite book, Sombrero Fallout. "Listeners can expect a mix of anecdotes, thoughtful commentary, and a bit of irreverence as Ian introduces you to music you never knew you adored!" We hope you love what Ian does as much as we do.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎💙 From Yesterday!! We all know how important it is to protect the planet, so what better way to celebrate Earth Day by planting a further 113 trees, bringing our Plexus total up to 3000 trees!

For every new hosting package, we pledge to plant 1 new tree and every year there after 🌱and for every managed word press package, we plant 3 trees and another 3 every year after which soon adds up 🌱🌳💚

Hello. It's certainly been a while! Greetings from all of us at Plexus Media, we hope everybody is keeping well and are easing nicely into 2025. Some big changes have been happening here at Plexus over the last year or so. . .

Our dedicated director David Newman has stepped down from his 26 year role as MD and creator of Plexus Media and is currently enjoying his well-earned retirement! Thank you so much for all of your hard work over the years and we all wish you the best with your creative endeavours and a wonderful retirement here in Cromarty. Colin is sticking around with his fantastic design input but we plan on feeding him buns in the corner so he can never leave.

With Dave’s retirement, we welcome Jamie Pond as our new Managing Director. Jamie has picked up a wealth of knowledge over the 20 years he has worked with us at Plexus, and we wish him all of the luck in his new role.

We also welcome to the company the lovely Karen Mackay, who has taken on the back room and with it, the accounts. Welcome to the team!

In other exciting news. During the changeover, Plexus has evolved into an Employee Owned Trust which aims to give employees more control over the business, driving both expansion of the business and productivity within the team.

Along with all of the changes that have been happening, we decided to give the office a makeover inside and out with a lick of fresh paint and the introduction of many, many plants. 🪴 Feel free to come and see it for yourself and discuss your website over a coffee and a bun.
