An A5 leaflet is produced every year to hand out at preseason exhibitions. The design includes a set of icons that represent each of the championships they promote. I design, artwork, photo edit and manage the print process – from concept to delivery. I have worked with the Classic Touring Car Racing Club for over 15 years.

I recently produced a design update to the Guild of Motoring Artists logo. The below is the Guilds own words: The Guild has a beautiful new logo, thanks very much to Steve Goodwin. There were several objectives in its creation. First was to ensure it was an evolution, not revolution, in design so we did not lose whatever recognition we might have built up over the last years. Second, it should imply a quality mark or seal of approval, hence the wax seal style. Third, it should be slightly simpler in design to allow recognition on small screens as people now overwhelming view sites on their phones. The Committee thinks the objectives were achieved and this represents a nice step forward.

It has been a real pleasure to design these three book jackets for author, historian and teacher Berwick Coates. The books include an historical novel, one about Berwick's experience in the National Service, and one about teaching.
