Pink & Red can you wear the trend? 🩷❤️

I’m pretty sure some would say I love it but I couldn’t wear it, or I wouldn’t be confident enough to put these colours together.

I’m here to say YES YOU CAN!!

I love pink & red together, the strengh and boldness of red, with the flirty, prettiness of pink.
However, for many of you a warm or soft, muted & delicate version will look best, or possibly a deeper tone. For some, putting these colours with a neutral will be the ideal way to wear these colours & for others, the brighter the better!

Here are some obvious Pink & Red styled outfits, but alternatively, think soft or bright pink with Burgandy or plum to dial down the look.

Pinky peach is divine worn with warm clear or muted tones. ( Autumn & spring ladies, I’ve got you!)
The colours may look diffrent but they are all in the same family, just with some added warmth.

However you put your individual look together, be it full on saturated bold colour, soft, gentle & feminine or just a pop from a pair of socks, a scarf or a piece of jewellery, having fun and enjoying the effect these colours bring phycology is what I wish for you. ❤️🩷❤️🩷

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post on here about the “ peplum” coming back, refreshed and updated.
Have you noticed it across the high street?… to be honest, you can’t miss it!

Well, we can see in these pics released today that our gal Emily and her bestie Mindy are indeed wearing a peplum hem.

I have my peplum top ready so I can enjoy my Christmas dinner and still look super stylish as it’s going to skim over my tummy beautifully.

The Peplum style is trending again!!

Looking very different this time around with a much needed upgrade!

Forget the old starchy look, it’s all about softness and versatility.
The modern peplum has graced many a fashion runway recently and is already on the high street.

Worn casually with street wear, sparkling for the festive season, clean and sophisticated work wear to cosy knits.

In my 27 page Colour & style book (pic1) we go through the best styles for each body shape.
Peplums can work for everyone, adding the illusion of curves to straighter figures, balancing a wider hip on a pear shape, while define the waist on an apple shape.

The peplum is universally flattering on a plus size figure as it emphasises the waist and creates a smooth line on the hips.

*Balance is KEY!!
The colours you choose, the placement of that colour and your accessories!

So now you know, keep a look out!
