You market what you understand. So sometimes, you need to get on site (and it's actually one of our favourite parts of what we do, particularly when the sun's shining!)

We recently visited Danes Park in New Milton with the Pennyfarthing Homes team; 164 new homes on the edge of the New Forest, 50% affordable, and one of the most thoughtfully designed developments I've seen in the South of England.

Worked through some exciting projects with the team on the day. More to share soon.

This is exactly the kind of housebuilder we love working with; ambitious, quality focused, and building things that genuinely matter for the communities they work in.

More site visits please :)

The average buyer visits a property website 3–5 times before even thinking about making contact.

That means your brand needs to be recognisable, consistent, and trustworthy by visit two and that includes every other platform they might encounter you on; Social media. Google results. Reviews. LinkedIn.

Having consistent and cohesive marketing is an absolute essential to be remembered in todays digital landscape; a landscape where memories are short, attention span is even shorter and we're all fighting for a nugget of our potential customers attention.

97% of buyers begin their property search online.

So the question isn’t whether your digital marketing matters or not, it’s whether it’s doing enough work when they find you.

We work with estate agents and housebuilders to make sure the answer is a resounding yes.

Website, social, SEO, and paid ads, all working together in cohesion to ensure your customer journey is seamless.

If you’re not sure yours is cutting through, let’s have a conversation.

A great day away from the desk!

We recently had the pleasure of supporting Henley Information Systems (HISL) at their first exclusive Housebuilders Forum; a brilliant event that brought together some of the sharpest minds in the housebuilding sector to do something increasingly rare: sit in a room together and actually talk.

HISL work with contractors and housebuilders across the UK and Ireland as COINS ERP specialists. Rather than running a typical industry event, they created something genuinely useful here. Some great conversations about real pain points, shared openly between businesses who are all navigating the same landscape.

From a Seven Digital Group perspective, it was a reminder of something we believe strongly: the best client relationships are built before anyone's picked up the phone. Being in the room, being part of the conversation, and being trusted enough to help get people there in the first place.

Huge thanks to Neil and the HISL team for having us involved. And to Mark, John, and the rest of the group who made a round at Badgemore Park Golf Club the perfect way complete the day; congratulations to Mark for taking the win on the course!

If you're a housebuilder who missed this one, keep an eye on HISL's page. Events like this really are worth being in the room for.

Monday morning and it's time to get stuck in for another week at SD!

Today we're reviewing a client’s content strategy, digging into last week’s ads and doing some background research on a potential new client. We do turn down work sometimes. Not often, but it happens!

Usually it's because we don't think the fit is right and in our experience, the wrong fit is worse for everyone than no deal at all.

The clients we work best with are the ones who:

→ Understand that marketing is a long game
→ Are willing to trust the process for at least 3–6 months
→ Want a genuine partner, not just someone to tick a box
→ Are proud of what they do and want the world to see it

Saying yes to everyone is business isn't always the smartest move. Agree?

Most property brands are spending a tonne on ads only to send potential customers to a homepage. The trouble is, your homepage isn’t built to convert cold buyers; It’s built to explain who you are.

People click, get distracted (internet attention span is at an all time low and decreasing year on year) and then flick over to someplace else. The ad might appear to be doing its job of sending traffic, but it stops at the landing page.

The fix; a simple, clear landing page that's designed to convert. This should contain one clear offer and/or one action to take.

Minor adjustments like this can double your conversion rates and prevent wasted ad spend. If your ads aren’t performing, don’t blame the ads just yet…
Check where you’re sending people and work from there.

Happy to help if you need it looking over.

A new financial year begins.

For those in the property sector, it can mean very different things;
new land opportunities, upcoming launches, shifting buyer demand or a renewed focus on performance and marketing.

Interest rates are back on the rise again which always impacts the property sector in unique ways; extra cautious buyers means extra efforts should be made to reassure them that buying a home with you will be an excellent decision. Building trust has never been more important.

For us; we're glad to have wrapped up our years accounts and are super excited about some upcoming Seven Digital projects. We've welcomed some interesting new clients recently and can't wait to delve into their strategies!

Thinking about your marketing this year?

It’s easy to get caught up in posting content, running campaigns or trying new ideas but without stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, it’s hard to know what’s actually working and what's not.

Here's a few questions you should be asking;

Are you reaching the right people?
Are you showing up consistently?
Are you tracking performance and refining your approach over time?

Small gaps in strategy can lead to missed opportunities, particularly in the property sector, where timing, visibility and trust all play a big role and you're managing what will often be someone's biggest financial decision.

Sometimes the most valuable thing you can do is pause, review and reset. If you're reviewing your marketing this year, we're always happy to have a conversation.

The reality is SEO and PPC both do very different jobs and are equally as important as one another.

SEO helps you build long term visibility and trust, showing up when people are actively searching for what you offer. PPC, on the other hand, allows you to get in front of the right audience quickly and generate immediate traffic and enquiries.

Don’t rely on just one; combine both, using each where it makes the most impact.

If you're not getting the results you'd hoped for with either SEO or PPC we can help.

One of the biggest missed opportunities in property marketing is waiting too long to start.

The strongest developments build awareness from the very beginning; long before show homes are open or the final touches go in.

Sharing the journey, the progress and the story behind a development helps create anticipation and build trust with potential buyers and it's something we see so many people overlook.

Getting this right means that by the time homes are ready to launch, the audience is already there; they've been following the journey from the start.
