Yesterday we attended an event celebrating inspiring women. Think it’s fair to say the Queen led the way as a woman who inspires. What a legacy she leaves behind.

Rest well ma’am.

📸 Queen Elizabeth in Ghana in 1961 dancing with President Kwame Nkrumah (it’s hard to go to Ghana and not find yourself in a social situation that requires dancing!) Despite being advised by the British government not to go ahead with the trip, she did. A woman with her own mind 💪

This week, we spoke to Emily Cleary, a freelance journalist reporter with 20 years’ experience in UK and international media. She told us all about her experience meeting the likes of Lady Gaga and Paris Hilton, and that the best way to grab her attention about a story is to include a couple of potential headlines.

We don’t normally work on websites, but ultimately our goal is to help clients communicate as effectively as possible. Once Kathy heard that she was a finalist for her industry awards, we helped her to tidy up her ‘shop window’ by tightening up copy, tidying up imagery and ensuring functionality was up to scratch.

Most recently, we also had the pleasure of working with her on her micro site, which is aimed at beauty therapists. We've also worked with Kathy over the years on regional PR campaigns to promote key crucial points in her business.

We’re so glad she won the award; Kathy has got big ambitions and it’s a pleasure to be on a journey with her on that before that last line.

Wensleydale School and Sixth form is a long standing client of ours and we support them to bring the energy and vibrancy to the fore. Most recently, we did a small press campaign to promote their school musical, which was their first in five years. Students and music teacher, Josh Hadfield spoke to Joanita Musisi on the afternoon show a couple of days before and we were also able to get a selection of photos from in a number of regional titles.

Ensuring students, staff and the local community are invested in your school is really important, especially in these post-Covid days, and that’s something we’re proud to do with Wensleydale.
