The bit you don’t see 👀

The lads have been grafting behind the scenes getting everything ready for tomorrow’s install. One we are really excited to show.

March has been full on again. Big projects wrapped up, new ones signed off, and it is shaping up to be our best March since 2022. That is off the back of our second best February in recent years too 📈

What I am most pleased about though is the team.

We have had changes in systems and staff recently, and the way everyone has adapted has been spot on. No fuss, just getting on with it and delivering like always. It has put us in a strong position heading into April.

Everything is building towards something big at the minute. A huge milestone for us coming up at the end of this month, and one we'll share more on when it's done 👀

Good luck to the lads at SpudBros today at 👊

We really enjoyed transforming the tram again, especially as it was for Adobe, a software company whose products we’ve used for decades.

It’s a brilliant partnership between two brands doing things properly, and it’s great to play a small part in that. Projects like this are a proper real world showcase of what Adobe tools can actually create, not just on a screen but out in the wild where people see it every day.

They’re also a great example of how a brand can think creatively when it comes to partnerships with content makers 👏

Back in 2023, Signs Express Central Lancashire had the chance to design and build the changing rooms at Preston North End Football Club.

Genuinely one of the most ambitious projects we’d taken on to date.

Tight timelines, high expectations, and zero margin for error. Everything had to look spot on and stand up to daily use by professional players and staff.

From concept and design, through manufacture, right to install - every detail was considered. Materials, textures, finishes, durability, and the overall feel of the space all had to hit Championship-level standards, while respecting the history of a proper football club.

Projects like this push you. They test your planning, your team, and your nerve. But they’re also the ones that remind you why you do what you do.

Proud of the result.
Proud of the team that delivered it.
And grateful to PNE for trusting us with such an important space.

I’m once again proud to say we’ve achieved Constructionline Gold status for the second year in a row 👷

A real testament to Signs Express Central Lancashire & Signs Express Southport’s attitude to health and safety, compliance, training, risk management and the standards we hold ourselves to when working on our customers’ sites.

We were chuffed to come away with:

Brilliant day all round! Proper conversations with suppliers, franchisees and the Signs Express Franchise Support Centre, topped off with a few drinks.

This time next week, the Signs Express Ltd Convention will be in full swing 😁

Supplier exhibitions, presentations, franchisee networking - and of course, the Signs Express Awards 🎉

Last year was a bit of a whirlwind for us - winning Franchisee of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, special recognition for our social media work, plus finalists in the Sustainability category and Employee of the Year for Kyle Wright.

I don’t think we’re in with a chance of anything this year, purely because of the incredible work that’s come out of the Signs Express group over the past 12 months. But it’s still great to reflect on previous years- and just as importantly, celebrate the success of this year’s winners 🥳

Looking forward to a good catch-up with our valued suppliers and good friends across the network. See you next week! 👋
